“What can I say about Parker Woodworks... I took my solid wood furniture, several pieces of which were over 100 years old, to George Parker after they spent days under water in the Tax Day Flood of 2016 in Houston. All of my pieces were returned in pristine condition! George Parker truly stands behind all that he does, and he believes that he is not satisfied until you, the customer, is satisfied. Do not hesitate to let George take care of your precious things!”
“We asked Melanie Lafleur to handle the estate sale at my mother's home of almost 50 years. She put maximum effort into the staging and preparation of the home over many days and nights. Her advertisement of the sale online and with neighborhood signs attracted a large number of people. Melanie is an extraordinarily kind and hard working person. I highly recommend her!”
“Very nice staff. Found what I was looking for.Much nicer than Washington School Mall in St Landry parish (that place is horrific) purse got stolen out the women's bathroom think it's the owner Jenni Rainwater who stole it, or her buddy with the red hair Kathy. No one go to Washington School Mall and rate them a 1 star.”
“Really great place! Very kind and helpful staff with a large variety of things to choose from! The store is organized in such a logical and fun way! Definitely adding this to my regular rotation!”
“My go-to store for gifts or holiday apparel/decor! Unique finds and friendly staff. Highly recommend stopping in or placing an order online! Very quick in-store pick up.”

“This is a wonderful antique store with wonderful owners! I purchased a lovely piece of art during my visit yesterday, but I must say that the best part of my visit was meeting and speaking with Mr. Ray. He greeted me shortly after I’d entered the store, told me that I could find him in the back if I needed anything, then left me alone to peruse as I pleased. When it came time to check out we ended up having the most pleasant conversation that involved a lot of walking back and forth through the store as he pointed out a few of his husband’s piece and we discussed our love for antiques. I genuinely don’t think I’ve ever had a more enjoyable customer service experience. I will without a doubt be back, and I hope that anyone reading this takes the time to visit this beautiful business.”
“It's like walking into your grandpa's garage but organized. Sorta.
He's got stuff you didn't think you needed, but you do.
I went looking for accutremounts for an 1830s English Gentleman outfit.
Found the perfect topper for my walking stick.
Great place to find stuff for yard art.
Plan on visiting with the proprietor an hour or so. Interesting guy.”
“I recently purchased three frozen meals. The young lady who helped me was so sweet and helpful, can't say enough good things about her. The meals were Meatball Stew, chicken stew and chicken/sausage gumbo. The chicken stew and meatball stew were fabulous, very yummy. The only reason for four stars is the gumbo was freezer burned and not edible. I will definitely try them again in the future.”
“Been coming here since they sold and bought baseball cards in the early 90's. When I want to sell some gold or silver, I go there. Selling online has too many scammers and high fees. This is the only place in Lafayette for buying or selling gold and silver bullion or coins. Most pawn shops either won't buy your coins or will offer you a ridiculously low price. For instance, when silver was about $16/oz..Pawn shops wanted to give me $4! and coin and treasure had a set price, based on spot and the volume. They know what they are doing. (And I here they don't like Communist!)”
“Really nice Antique store, it's pricy for a lot of things but this is also mostly really old furniture and pieces that reflect the prices for a reason. Happily found a small frame with an old art print inside a cameo for a very fair price. After doing some research it was an old company from around the 60s that made them. Love having her added to my vintage portrait wall. (Also enjoyed the fact the owners/employees didn't hound us around the store unless prompted and nicely checked us out when we were ready ?)”
“The employees were very kind and welcoming. Mr. Stone was also very patient and helpful. He keeps his music department neat and organized, and taught me a lot during my short visit. I was impressed with his knowledge, effort, fairness of prices, and both the quality and variety of physical media that he had to offer. It was a pleasant shopping experience. I will be back and thank you again.”
