“With very short notice, I had two custom framed pieces done by Althea at Barnel’s. She made recommendations for matting and “in stock” frames so that I could have the artwork in time for my event. They were delivered the day they were promised and just in time for a very special event. Each looked like a masterpiece and was beautifully done. Without any hesitation I would go back to Barnel’s and have future projects done. If you want perfection, this is the place to go.”
“Matthew was very helpful and knowledgeable. We also appreciated that he gave us some space to let us discuss what we wanted without hovering. He answered every question we had. A no pressure sales floor was a big selling point for us. We felt like we were given adequate space and time to make a decision. We did end up purchasing a matress that day!”
“Ok I finally had the time to check out this store. I’M HOOKED! The store has the prettiest, adorable clothes! Grant it, I wish they would run a little bigger for those of us cornbread fed farm girls?- if they did I’d a bought every dress in there! A lot of things like the ‘other local gift stores’ except what hooked me on this one?! The customer service was freaking amazing! These girls were so kind, helpful, JOYOUS IN ATTITUDE! You could tell they had a camaraderie with each other and were all about giving the best customer service! Not like ‘the other local gift store’ where they just stand there looking all aggravated and God forbid you ask them something so they actually have to work?the staff in the Pink Paisley went out of their way to help, engaged in conversation, were so cheerful- it made for a delightful shopping experience! Back to the items… so much more stuff AND CUTE, classy stuff! So beautifully arranged, wonderful selections, OH and the art work upstairs?! I’m so hooked! Love the whole experience! Definitely will be back! Adorable, home grown and you can feel that in the atmosphere from the staff, love, love, love!”

“This is a wonderful antique store with wonderful owners! I purchased a lovely piece of art during my visit yesterday, but I must say that the best part of my visit was meeting and speaking with Mr. Ray. He greeted me shortly after I’d entered the store, told me that I could find him in the back if I needed anything, then left me alone to peruse as I pleased. When it came time to check out we ended up having the most pleasant conversation that involved a lot of walking back and forth through the store as he pointed out a few of his husband’s piece and we discussed our love for antiques. I genuinely don’t think I’ve ever had a more enjoyable customer service experience. I will without a doubt be back, and I hope that anyone reading this takes the time to visit this beautiful business.”

“Great experience this past weekend AND it was a holiday! Our salesman Donyell was perfect! He was not pushy and took his time with us, making sure we got exactly what we were looking for. He didn’t make us feel like we needed to make a purchase right away. He let us take our time, gave us our space when he knew we needed it, but was always still in our view for anymore questions we had. Thanks again Donyell!!!
