“We have shopped here several times over the years. We have never had a bad moment in this store. The people are always happy to help us find something when we can't find it. They are always friendly at the register and ask if we need anything else. If you have ever had a bad experience in this store, it is probably because you brought it on yourself. I know that the customer is always right is what they say but you have to remember that these people have different customs than we have in America and they are raised that way. Be nice to them and they will be nice to you.”

“This is my grocery store. I buy all my groceries here and I have found time and time again that it's cheaper going here than even buying my groceries at a Walmart or another grocery store. I love that I can go in and know that the food is non-GMO and then it's organic and it's created in healthy way.”
“Lovely local grocery store! If you’re looking for niche or organically grown produce, this will be your stop on the way home! I typically shop for organic and gluten free items which I find here and are excellent. Would recommend if you aren’t too budget conscious but produce is often locally sourced so prices should be fair!”
“You can usually find some things there that you can't find elsewhere. To my knowledge, they are the only drug store that carry Alpha Keri bath oil. It's an excellent product for dry skin. They also have a large selection of health products.”

“A nice neighborhood grocery that carries a larger range of products then you might expect from a small location. “Shocked at how affordable the food is here. 5 small crawfish/crab boudin balls, 2 pepper jack balls, and a bag of cracklins for $11. When's the last time you had lunch for 2 for $11?! The seafood boudin balls were perfect.”

“Come on… best home cooked food like the old grandparents used to cook… absolutely the best fried chicken and sides! Food is cooked perfectly done- no half way stuff! I believe the delivery fellow is the nephew of the owner??? Such a sweet, kind, professional person and truly believes in his family’s business and you can tell he’s passionate about what his aunts vision is for her restaurant . His aunt should be proud of him! Best service and food for real!!! Only wish they’d be open on Saturdays for dine in… I’d be there every Saturday ?”

I guess me and my money can go elsewhere for better prices even if the customer service is not great. Money talks and if it's going to be unpleasant I'd rather save money.”
“I came in today with a small order for a golf course. It was my first time here AND I'm new at my job. They corrected all the mistakes I made, amended any misunderstandings, and gave me credit for returns. They were courteous, quick and efficient. Michael was ready to help and did so with a smile. “Delicious king cake !! Bread was so moist and layered so perfectly and traditional. Lots of cinnamon inside. Cream cheese filling was good. Only complaint it was $18 for a very small king cake”

“Great store for exploring Indian groceries and food, with a decent selection of Bangladeshi and other South Asian items too. While the variety is impressive, the prices can be on the higher side. One major drawback is the location—traffic around the area is almost always congested, and the parking situation doesn't help. The parking lot is not very congenial for safe driving, with tight spaces and tricky exits. No matter which way you leave, you'll need to navigate carefully to merge onto the busy street. Overall, worth a visit for hard-to-find items, but be prepared for both parking and traffic challenges!”

“Don’t let the size of this little neighborhood grocery store for you… They have everything you need, and more! Gluten free… No problem, they have surprise me with a fair amount of options here. The premade chicken salad is my absolute favorite!… And the jalapeño chicken burgers in the deli section are amazing! They have wonderful meat specials every day. The chicken and steak kebabs, and the stuffed pork chops are my favorite.”
“5 stars - such a good place. They now have Apple Pay, etc. Also, huge shout out to the flower department. They always have an awesome selection, and the staff does an extremely good job with arranging and giving a wide assortment of options. I get all my flowers from Rouses.
Edit/update - reducing to 4 stars. Need Apple Pay at all registers. Touch-less paying option. Any NFC chip accepted payment method. It seems it should have happened by now.
April 2018 - I live close by so I visit this store often. The selection is always FANTASTIC and the service is exceptional. Feels like a neighborhood grocer and cafe. The boiled crawfish is good, all the things that their deli prepare are good. I visit the meat department often and 2-3 employees know I do and always ask if I can be assisted and are extremely helpful. Call ahead to have them prepare some ribeye ground steak for hamburgers. Always a good experience here.”
