Kirk's U Need A Butcher is a great store with very nice people working there, including a very nice owner. The store is always clean, with clean and well-stocked shelves. It is densely packed with a lot of options and a nice variety of meat that you won't find other places. The food is good, with highlights being the amazing chicken cracklings, regular cracklings, boudin, and chicken chicharrón. The pork cracklings are good but too expensive. It is an all-around great store with amazing people.
We stopped in for the first time today. We got a half pound of chicken cracklings and they were sooo good!! Very tasty with lots of meat on them. We will definitely be back when we in the area again!

Friendly atmosphere, Great Service. On the top Kirk the originator of Chicken Cracklin the Best. Specialty Meat options the Best. Smoked Meats off the chart. I enjoyed the Smoked beef and pork susage!! Visit and enjoy
