“It has been years since I had been here and it was only because I would do my grocery shoppin early early on Sunday mornins so it wouldn't be open yet. I finally started to go grocery shoppin on Saturday mornins,and not as early so I would catch them as they were openin. I'm so glad I did cause this place really does have so great deals! I've got a family of 5 so every single penny counts when it comes to groceries. Sure some things are out of date but still good and lots of things are still in good date. I will say I don't buy anything out the frozen food or cold food sections. Just a preference. Although they do have quality items at a more than moderate price. The service is always wonderful and staff is always helpful! I can't say that loud enough! I recommend the salvage store to anyone really but if you're lookin for a deal then don't pass it up!”
“The Hammond Piggly Wiggly is such a clean store. The aisles are not cluttered. The vegetables are fresh with a nice variety. The meat department is wonderful (they have a lot of sales). The deli and bakery departments are fantastic. They are a bit far for me to drive but totally worth it. They have a huge parking lot with easy access.”
“The best grocery store left in Hammond LA. I know it's a chain but it doesn't feel like one. Their prices are really good. Their Winn Dixie card club is a great way to save money. They have a great selection of meats and seafood. Their wine and beer selection is right up there with the big stores. Their personnel and management are extremely helpful and great at what they do. I give them an A+”
“Friendly cashier and bag person. The bathroom is in the front of the store. The store is always well stocked and neat. I was very impressed with Robert Supermarket. Decent gas prices, and some good sales. Clean and stocked Supermarket with excellent service. It has a wide selection of groceries and mostly at very competitive gas prices. They seem to keep their gas prices lower than other places in town which is why I believe people will continue to come here. It is worth supporting a local business if you live in the area. It's likely to be the only landmark for anyone passing through highway 190 as well...”

“Yesterday my Grandaughter 26 wanted fresh cut meats but didn't want small packed meats so I introduced her to shoppers value. Foods in Amite...were both new here in town..but I've been here a little longer than her by at lease 1 yr..anyway we went in side. .yes that's the meat store we were looking for...fresh meats ...fresh everything you wanted and fresh everything you didn't kno you wanted looking good to catch the eyes..looking lime look in these tall stand up freezers..stating to me look how fresh..and we'll advertised...the store is so special because...they stock some of the hard to find items on their shelves...i can't find anywhere else I'm always amazed..when I'm shelf checking on anything ..love it I love it there in Shoppers Value Foods Amite...thank you ..”
“My favorite store in the whole world with the best homemade iced tea & filled with people who are the Salt of the Earth catered our family reunion and birthday celebration BEAUTIFULLY!! The food was fantastic & Fred knows his stuff!!! I've used caterers from NO and BR & NeVeR had as good an experience as this was. Highly recommend, 2 thumbs up, photos don't come close to doing it justice!”

“I've been to A LOT of dollar stores, and this one by far is still the best one I've ever been to! I've never had any problems with any of the employees. This store is always very clean and tidy. The main manager lady with the black hair, wears glasses, I don't know her name, but she is the best you'll ever get. So if I were y'all, I'd give her a raise! Keep up the good work! ?”

“A great little place for quick items. They have gas cheaper than most other places. Filled up 2 days ago. And they were "22 cents" per gallon "cheaper".They have a large selection of different bottle liquors.”

“Definitely a hole in the walk type of place. The food is good, I've never had an issue with the service, but the atmosphere is not very esthetically pleasing.There is always a wide variety of options for snacks and hot food.I remember growing up and coming here for a hot plate of food. Potato log, fried fish, fried rice, chicken wings, boudin sausage, boiled food, etc. I used to love their fried chicken and fried fish. I feel like it tastes different now, so it's not my go to place anymore. It's still nostalgic for me though?”
“Most of the material that I bought I normally get it at the Dollar tree but since they have went up from $1 to $1.25 many of the items are on the dollar aisle at Dollar general case in point facial napkins $1 a package of three toothbrushes $1 storage bags $1 so I love their dollar out because they are well stocked and I can still get my items for $1”
“Hilltop Market & Deli cooks the best lunch meals. If you're close to this store between 11am and 2pm, you gotta stop and get 1 of there lunches. It don't matter what they have cooked or what day it is, the food is always delicious. If you've never ate there before, call them, order yourself a lunch plate. When you go get it, you can either eat there or take your plate home and eat it there. I promise, once you've tried their lunches, you will go there during lunch time and time again.”

This store is a convenience store offers 109% real gasoline no ethanol and products include cigatettes, beer wine, cold drinks snacks. “I love this store and the owners. They've helped me many times when I was struggling for money, needed gas and stuff by either lowering the price, letting me pay when I could, and sometimes saying the amount due was whatever I had at the time. The only issue is them running out of gas every week on either Thursday or Friday.”
“Helpful ,respectful, clean. Good in store selection, liquor,, cigarettes lotto, food snacks indoor ATM.and gasoline. Not far off the interstate being just a little out of town making their prices just a little lower. They accept EBT, CASH,DEBIT & CREDIT CARD. Right over the overpasses on Hwy 43 in Albany going towards Springfield . A hidden gem.”
