“Here I was driving all the way to the West Bank to Hong Kong market for simple ingredients and food items I had only wished were convient. Well, those days are over! They let us sneak in 10 minutes before closing which was just enough time for me to buy what I needed for some yummy homemade ramen! I got the Homdashi stock mix, Mushrooms, frozen ramen noodles, red pepper paste for this dish here. If I had had time, I definitely would have snagged more but it was just enough for a simple yet flavorful dish. We also bought Tteokbokki and gyoza but haven't tapped into those goodies just yet. Can't wait to be back to fill up my cart with unique ingredients I've been looking forward to playing and learning with. :) Happy to have y'all in Metairie!”

The food is ALWAYS hot, fresh, and plentiful. She has a great selection of food to fit everyone's needs. The service is fast, which is really important when you're on your lunch break; but the food is worth the wait! She does her best to cater to each person so if you want something, she will make it happen. I especially love the no/low carb options. Despite being located in a business high-rise, it feels like the neighborhood store.”

They have weekly ads that have some really good prices. Aldi has a couple of aisles devoted to seasonal decor. I've yet to find the place overly crowded. There are self checkouts, and you have to pay for bags or bring your own. Give it a shot. I think you'll like it.”

“There’s always that one store in a community that sells alcohol to minors. Well…a few times I’ve walked in on a weekend night and kids that looked 16 loaded the counter with a wide range of alcoholic beverages. No doubt they were using their parents credit cards and probably being charged a 100% markup ?. Also, they don’t turn the freezer to the proper temp as I bought a king cone ice cream bar, and it was melted. However, the owner and employees are pretty cool and will give you a bag (if you ask for one) ?”
