The prices are typical for any small town grocery, but always have good sales. The meat is cut fresh and always looks better than most other big grocery stores.Their food is so good, my father-in-law drives from Ponchatoula to Albany weekly to get their chicken.”

“Hilltop Market & Deli cooks the best lunch meals. If you're close to this store between 11am and 2pm, you gotta stop and get 1 of there lunches. It don't matter what they have cooked or what day it is, the food is always delicious. If you've never ate there before, call them, order yourself a lunch plate. When you go get it, you can either eat there or take your plate home and eat it there. I promise, once you've tried their lunches, you will go there during lunch time and time again.”

“Childers grocery is hands down the best place to eat in the parish alone! I remember being pregnant in 2013-2014 and I refused to eat anywhere other than Childers! They aren’t just a place you can go to eat some amazing food though, it’s a great place to feel comfortable and like ur wanted to return! It’s friendly, comforting and the people are genuine and worship god so much that when u walk in the store u can feel the presence of the lord! It’s unexplainable the way this store can make a person feel! There’s no doubt that when u visit Childers grocery, you will not be unsatisfied! It’s almost like going to grandmas and being in grandmas kitchen eating again like we was little kids all over again!”

“Not a bad little place for trucks to park overnight. 10$ for 24 hrs. The guy makes pizza/Wings or chicken tenders fresh if you ask. Only sucky part is the lot to park your semi, it’s dirt and dust kicks up and gets your truck dirty but not too bad place”

“Homeless man laying around the other side of the stripmall looked like he was dying in the heat. The butcher gave us some ice and we bought water for him. The homeless man ended up being pretty rude. Everyone was nice and caring wanting to help. Great staff! Glad to see people care. Thank you for being good people.”
