“I have a love/hate relationship with the Riverwalk. I hate it because of its location and its PAID parking lot (ahem make sure you get validated). But I love it because they have a Carter's! This place has everything that I need to outfit the little nephews and nieces in my life, from casual to fancy. Super cute tees, comfy pjs, swimsuits, adorable Skip Hop backpacks, and clothes for every holiday! Their prices are affordable for a penny-pincher like me, too. I am also a huge fan of their customer service. I've called ahead several times to make sure they have what I need and they are always happy to go look for it and hold it for me if necessary. They go above and beyond!”

Anything not in stock can be ordered and delivered within a day or so. I also like their alterations department that makes certain the things I buy fit me properly.”

“Fire starter- to best customer service of my life! On a recent trip back to New Orleans, my husband and I were shopping for our baby like any first time parents away from their baby would. We found the best outfits at Juju's for her. At checkout, I put my pile of clothes on the counter and I'm chatting with the owner, when all of a sudden I look out of the corner of my eye and I see a FIRE on the counter! The clothes were on fire! I scream, and the owner starts smacking the clothing putting the fire out. There was a lit candle behind the counter and the sleeve of one of the outfits fell on the candle, starting the fire! The owner was kind, caring, and concerned for our safety. I was beyond embarrassed. We ended up having a good laugh with the owner, swapped stories and I'm now known as the fire starter per my husband! The owner even gave us the burned up clothing as a moms to to never forget them! I highly recommend this shop to locals and any out of towners!”

“I am OBSESSED with this store!!!! I was looking for somewhere to get a shirt that didn't say New Orleans on it and then I walked into this dress and skirt dream!! If you are looking for amazing prints and dresses with pockets - this is the place for you! If you are looking for dresses and skirts in a variety of sizes - this is the place for you! Some of the dresses are from Eva Rose and Effie's Closet to name a few and these designers really know how to make great quality clothing that lasts a long time and is worth the price you pay!!! Oh and the service was spectacular - Debbie was super helpful and even though I arrived right before they closed, she did not hesitate to let me try some items on so that was super nice of her!! I cannot wait to go back when I have more time!!! I love this place and have recommended it to everyone I have met!!!”

“We had an opportunity to shop at Perlis (Magazine St.) last month and our experience was quite delightful. We had the pleasure of working with a saleswoman named Linda and after working with her a new tradition was born for my son. We will definitely purchase all our special occasions clothes from Perlis. Linda was absolutely amazing, she was knowledgeable about attire for boys, and her service was so stellar that she easily won me over as a repeat customer. However, in addition to her service it was the quality of the clothing that definitely impacted my decision to return. My son played the violin on the night of his moving up ceremony and the jacket and tie that he wore looked absolutely amazing. I am truly thrilled that I had an opportunity to work with Linda, discover the uniqueness of Perlis, and watch my son perform in a tie and jacket that looked simply stunning. Thanks again for wonderful service and I truly understand why Perlis has been a Louisiana tradition since 1939.”

“This place is very nice!! It's very neat here they keep it up nice. I didn't realize the clothes here were that cheap either, I thought they were more expensive. They are priced reasonably and they have many sales. It was huge too like they had so much jewelry, and 2 whole floors. The only complaint is that the line was a little long, but patience is a virtue ? For sure recommend shopping here. They have so many cute clothes for the summer ?☀️”

“You get much better service if they can look your phone number up in their system, meaning you've shopped there before. This is the uptown snobbery you come to expect here in NOLA. If I walk in wearing my work scrubs I get much better attention than sweatpants (which I have bought there) and a t-shirt (which I have bought there). Not a fan of the crawfish logo but to each his own. They do carry very high end brands, jeans run around $200, shirts around $100. The brand you buy will determine the quality. You need to check out their website before going to the store so you have an idea of what they sell. I have shopped with a friend in the 2nd floor women's department and the salespeople seem much friendlier. All in all they do know their products and almost all of the time the prices are the same if you bought the product from the website (i.e. Barbour) or another store carrying the same merchandise. So pricing is legit. Bottom line, check them out yourself. I am not a frequent shopper there but when I do need something they generally have it. But I know what I'm looking for before I get there.”
