“We buy plants from here as well as a few local places. Feed and seed usually has a few things only the nursery has. Plants are always well watered and healthy (unlike other places). I would recommend checking them out if you want to start plants instead of from seed.”

What really sets this Ace apart is the staff. They’re incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to help without being pushy. Whether I need help finding the right tool, matching paint, or troubleshooting a project, they always take the time to make sure I leave with exactly what I need.
You can tell they care about the community and take pride in what they do. It’s the kind of local service you just don’t get at the big box stores.

“I ordered a Traeger grill mat on eBay from this seller. The item was picked up by UPS but then I didn’t see any movement on the tracking for 2 weeks or so. Figured it was lost, I called ups and they started an investigation. In the meantime, I got a hold of the seller (outdoor home store) to see if we could get to the bottom of this. I got a hold of a gentleman named Eric. He went out of his way to call UPS and figure out what happened to this package! Another coworker of his, Richard, was very helpful in assisting him. Long story short, UPS found the package and they overnighted it to me! Without Eric’s help, I probably would have just ended up requesting a refund! Highly recommend this company, if I lived closer, I would absolutely shop there!”
“Update:There has been a change in management. The lady who managed the store prior to covid is back, and it shows. The problem managers are no longer there. Glad the store is back to being a good place to shop.Up until this past March this TSC branch was AWESOME. There was a lady there (wish I knew her name) who was a manager and she was great. There was a guy who was also a manager who was also very helpful. But I haven't seen either of them for months, and since they disappeared, this branch has really taken a nose dive. The last few purchases that required management to do something has been a disaster. Everything takes FOREVER. And not because they are crowded, but because they are just horrible. They go to get something or someone to complete your purchase and just disappear. Go and start helping another customer, or just enter the twilight zone and you can't find them. After my trip there this past weekend, I have now officially written the place off. Wont go back. And we used to go there a LOT. All my feed (I have over 100 chickens) now comes from a feed store that is twice as far away. Such a shame to, because the place really was great before. My last trip to the Slidell TSC reminded me of how ours USED to be.”

“Since it's the only one in our town we go there for quite a few things. They do have good sales ,sometimes, especially on cleaning projects. Their garden center is nice, wish they would add a bigger variety and the employees I have asked questions to, either don't know or say they don't have it. And I found what I was looking for anyway. Needs someone to focus on the plants and make sure there in good shape and all the dead pieces are gone. Other than that, I enjoy walking the garden center. And they have a great selection of plant food, root starters, seeds, and pesticides that are safe for the plants.”
“EXCELLENT SERVICE. Explained entire situation with my stove and told me how to check it in the future. Put my mind at ease concerning possible gas smell from oven, explaining that it was normal for propane ovens to sometimes have a slight gas smell. Not always but it does happen sometimes. Very nice and knowledgeable.”

“This place is first class! I am a DIYer.As long as I can give them a model number and explain what I need they have helped me find everything. Today topped that looked them up on Google and only saw the open tab, got to the store about 15 min before they actually opened. When I walked in the guy was setting up the register and told me they were not opened, then asked what I needed. He went on the floor found what I needed as soon as the computer woke up he pulled up a part, we waited for the CC machine to get up and running and I was still out 10 min before the shop was supposed to open…Awesome guys here!”

“Just moved to the area, and this Lowes shocked me. The pickup process was smooth, I didn't know what to do, but help was offered immediately upon entering. I came back a few days later to buy a refrigerator. We had Khai J. help us, and they were really knowledgeable and helpful. We were paying with Progressive Financing and just knew it would be difficult. They made it easy and were able to explain the need for a service plan. They also explained in detail how the shipping and delivery would work. The excellent customer service was greatly appreciated. The store is well stocked and clean, and the online locations are correct for where the item is placed in the store. Also, employees don't just walk by you the acknowledge you, and ensure you find everything needed. Sad to say the register and I were having problems(press cash and it lights up where to put) and that attendant help quickly as well. Great experiences 3x thus far in one week.”
