“I just stayed at this place (11/01-11/02), and it was perfectly fine. For what it cost ($75 for a single king), it was pretty great. Some of the issues mentioned in other reviews have been fixed, like the sliding door entrance, while others persisted (broken back door, all stairwell doors lacking any kind of quieting device), but any problems a person might have were mostly cosmetic and/or only really existed outside of the rooms.
I have zero complaints about my room. It smelled fresh and clean, all sheets and towels were clean, floor and countertops were free of dust, etc. The bathroom was also spotless. Again, there were cosmetic things like peeling paint in a corner but you won’t notice or care unless you are purposely looking for stuff like that.
My interactions with the front desk were brief but very efficient. Everyone was nice.
My ooooonly real complaint is that the beverage vending machines don’t take cards. The snack machine does, but neither of the two drink machines I saw did. But even still, you’re surrounded by no less than 5 clean, safe convenience stores that you can go pick up drinks from.”
“Stayed here 3 weeks while working during Hurricane IDA. Owners are super helpful and friendly, went out of there way to find me a room when there were no rooms available within 50 miles. Staff is friendly and trustworthy. This is not a fancy motel but its safe and priced right.”
