“Room was clean!Bed was comfortable and clean with comfortable bedding! Enough clean towels have been provided.I stayed in a Bed friendly room with my 10lbs dog.In my opinion, the room rates are to high for that type of room/hotel. I paid 89$ + Tax + Pet fee!The Receptionist at Check out was very pleasant!Unfortunately the room is very echoey!I would recommend, leaving stapled together pillow decorations out of the room!Fast food options are nearby!”

“We ate in the restaurant the first my server fixed the BEST Blood Mary Kiana Morrison. Her personality was everything I felt like I've known her for years. Make sure when book your room she's working. You'll love her as much as we did????Rooms: Room was very clean.Nearby activities: We went to juicy seafood bar and grill it was great”

“The Crowne Plaza is an older hotel, meaning the year it was built (1973). I visited about 13 years ago for a professional conference (the same one I attended this year) and this time I felt like the rooms could have been upgraded a bit more. According to research, they were upgraded in 2019. They were not deplorable or like a motel, but I expected more - especially since I was there for a professional conference. The conference rooms were nice. Staff was okay.Rooms: Need more upgrading.Nearby activities: Everything is close by - restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, shopping, and the interstate if you want to travel a little further out.Walkability: Everything is in walking distance but keep in mind this is a high traffic area with not many sidewalks.”

“We came for Mardi Gras Swim meet and our heat wasn't working ( it was 30-40 degrees out) the first night. Mr Darryl - chief engineer came and worked on it, he was frank that the fix would take time and he expedited a room move for us two times as the first move would have moved us away from our team mates. He was kind and we appreciated the direct communication that the situation wasn't a quick fix, followed by a solution until we were in a warm room, close to our team.”

“My wife and I recently had an amazing stay at The Indigo. Everyone was very friendly and professional. The hotel itself was beautiful and very clean, and the views overlooking the Mississippi River and location near The Manship Theatre, Tsunami, LSU MOA, etc., could not be beaten. The staff went above and beyond to exceed expectations and make our stay incredible. 10/10 will go back!”

“We spent a long weekend there! It was great. The food options were FANTASTIC! I highly recommend Johnny Sanchez for breakfast and Drago's for dinner. The casino was nice, lots of slots and table games. The staff every where we went was AMAZING!!! They were all so nice ans hard working. The room was nice although it did show it's age a little but it was still nice. I'd definitely go back.”

“Rooms were very clean staff were very kind location is good it's buy a lot of places to eat and about 5 minutes from the mall of Louisiana. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because their is always something a company can improve although are stay was excellent.”

“We have stayed at this hotel at least four dozen times over the last 5 years. It has always been wonderful. The suites are beautiful and clean, and the staff is excellent. This is the only hotel that we use in the Baton Rouge area.”

“Great rooms and nice property! Would stay here again. Went for an engagement party and it was near the party location. A nice Mexican restaurant right next door.”

“Friendly staff, hotel getting old. Slow elevators, sometimes 1 of the 2 is broken, using stairs is not an option, because they do not exit on first floor, just to outside.”

“Located central to shopping, dining, and hospitals, this place is very clean and nice. The front desk attendant was able to give me a room directly by the exit, which provided easy access in and out of the hotel.I thought I left my phone in the room after checkout, and the lady answering phones went above and beyond to find my phone. This was a joyful experience, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Baton Rouge.”

“The super friendly service and clean rooms make up for the bit outdated bathroom. I really enjoy this hotel. The way the people in the lobby greet you, the cleanness of the rooms and the outback restaurant next door. The little scratch card for gold members is an amazing idea, I wish all Marriotts would do that.Overall, it's a great hotel, I'm definitely coming back here!”

“We just started a 5 day stay here and I must say that first impressions are great. It really upsets me to think of the number of times we've been in Baton Rouge and stayed in nearby places that were more expensive and not as nice.We chose the king suite room because of some reviews and we're thrilled at the size of the suite and the cleanliness. This is an older hotel but is in the very best condition. Lobby and breakfast are impressive. There's a lot of highway noise but absolutely none in our room.If things change during our stay I'll update this post but I don't expect any problems. I can't imagine where any bad reviews come from.Follow -up Review:My husband and I stayed at this hotel again a year or so later and we had a very poor experience. We were in a different section of the hotel for the second stay and it was nothing like the first. The room this time was a standard double room. It didn't seem clean and there was noise in the hall that was bothersome. The walls and doors did not block routine conversations outside the room. It really seemed like a second rate hotel. We go to Baton Rouge every year but we have never stayed here again. The location is great and maybe the king suites are the way to go but we've never given them another chance.”

“Kenric (the front desk guy) is seriously one of the nicest men I have ever met. I had traveled several hours and arrived early. He was so kind to get me. I arrived a few hours early and he could tell I was totally exhausted. He allowed me to check in early so I can take a nap before my important event that evening. Then the next day he went out of his way to help me print an important document. You don't find stuff like that anymore. The beds are why I love to stay at Comfort Inn. The only reason I gave it a four-star is because the hotel is getting a bit outdated. But under no circumstances, is that an issue on the staff side.”

“Rooms are decent, beds are kinda hard tho. We have been here about 4 weeks now due to my husband's job and the staff has been incredible to us. The owner has went above and beyond to accommodate us and to make us feel welcome. They are in the process of getting licensed or whatever to be able to serve hot food which will be great.”

“Excellent crew, easily check in, fantastically easy to book, and clean! Even in the lobby, it smelled so clean! The room was clean and the air conditioner worked well. My only two complaints were about the bathroom door and the bathroom vent. The door didn't close completely, but it wasn't a huge issue. However, the bathroom vent, which had no option to turn off as it was tied to the light switch, was amazingly loud and rambunctious. The vent gave me flashbacks. Every time we would turn on the bathroom light, it was like listening to a concert of epileptic monkeys bang coconuts on tiger enclosure at an understaffed zoo. Gotta get that fixed.”

“Rooms: Room was clean and comfortable.Safety: Parking lot could use more lighting. Seemed to be a sketchy part of town.Walkability: Not a gpod area for walking, except perhaps to the Waffle House next door and the gas station on the corner. Walking across the street to get lunch from one of the fast good joints took FOREVER, reminded me of playing the old-school arcade game FROGGER and nearly got me killed!”

“These guys are great. The hotel was clean. All of the staff were friendly to me.For me, the location was perfect for the work that I was doing. And the food was much better than you would expect from a hotel.I'll be back.Food & drinks: As I stated earlier, the food here was above average for a hotel. It's easy to see that they care about what they serve to the guest.”

“Had reservations at a nearby hotel, but they lost it and wanted to change the rate that I was quoted. I walked into Microtel. They had an available room for the rate quoted for the other hotel. I enjoyed my stay. The room was clean and comfortable. I will return.Rooms: Several restaurants within walking distance. The staff was very friendly. I will return.Safety: Well, it's lit at night. Parking was safe.Walkability: The area appears safe. There is a fence surrounding the entire complex of hotels and restaurants. I wasn't nervous walking around.”
