“We just hosted a conference at the Baton Rouge Marriott and could not be happier with the service and location. Michelle, Steven, Darris, and Dedrick met all of our expectations and went above and beyond to help our event run smoothly. The food was great, every Marriott employee was professional and courteous, and the facilities were kept clean throughout the event. We will definitely be using the Baton Rouge Marriott again!”

“Great location downtown you can walk to several places. They also have a shuttle. The rooms are nicely appointed but very small. We lucked up on the Mardi Gras parade which was on the street in front of the hotel so you could head down to the street level or stay in your room and observe. I also loved the proximity to the river. There was a small convenience area where I purchased water and a full restaurant which I did not get a chance to visit. The hotel was pretty quiet. The front desk and housekeeping staff were very nice and attentive.”

“We had a wonderful experience at Holiday Inn Baton Rouge-South & Convention Center. The staff was welcoming, and accommodating throughout our stay.
The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and provided a relaxing atmosphere. Though its a bit dated but that is totally fine, its the peaceful atmosphere and the convenient location what matters most. Any questions or requests we had were handled promptly and with a smile.
I truly appreciate the kindness and professionalism of the entire team. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Baton Rouge. Thank you for making our stay such a pleasant experience! ?”

“My girlfriend and I spent two nights at the Renaissance in Baton Rouge. We were very pleased with our accommodations. We enjoyed the firepits outside at night. “I came here for a few days for apartment hunting and thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. My favorite aspect of the hotel is the hospitality of the Caribbean staff member, Peter, who overlooked the free breakfast during my stay. Every time I was looking for something, he would immediately ask if I needed help (even though he didn’t need to). I was also alone every morning and he came up to engage in small conversation. it was so wholesome and made my stay. When I invite people from out of state to my workplace, I will definitely be recommending this place to them!”

“This is a great hotel for lady of our lake hospital.
Room is very spacious can fit family of 4 easily, maybe 6 if you choose 2 full size beds. There is a sofa that can convert to a day bed, with a trundle.
Room is very clean no bed bugs (we always check for this first thing)
There is a microwave and a fridge in the living room with a desk also.
The front desk manager is very accommodating with our unknown check out date. We did not know for sure when our brother would be discharged from the hospital.”

“Seeing some of the recent review made us a little nervous, but we kept our reservation and were so glad we did.
The room was spotless, service was friendly, and the lobby felt so welcoming.
We really enjoyed spending time in the pool and the hotel gym.
Lots of great food options close by and traffic isn’t terrible if you know how to avoid waiting at the light at Constitution and College Dr.”

“The hotel staff is super nice. Lyna was very welcoming and kind. The hotel was beautiful but room needed to possibly be deep cleaned and the tub was peeling. The carpet had stains that was slightly scary to see. Unsure if it could have been liquid or bodily fluids.Theres also plastic bags or something across the bedroom window. I just assume there’s some sort of construction going on. Outside of the room I did enjoy my stay. It was also nice seeing families enjoy the indoor pool.”

“I was hesitant to book here considering some of the reviews. Luckily, I had a wonderful experience. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I had no issues reaching them via phone, they even allowed me to check in 4 hours early. The room was clean and comfortable. The only ‘negative’ thing I do agree with is that you can hear the traffic from the highway. I live in the city so this didn’t bother me but I know it would bother some. This is a perfect location for visits to LSU, or other activities in the area (easy to access the highway). Also, there is an Outback steak house right next door that gives hotel guests a discount and will deliver to the hotel for free.”

“We stayed in room 102. First, bring your own pillows or go to the front desk and request some better pillows. They were very small and did not sleep well. The mattress needs to be replaced, the airconditioner unit in this room is very, very loud. It rattles the windows everytime it comes on and goes off. I did report this to the front desk on checkout. We were only there for one night. Overall, it was a little pricey at $180 for what you got. The breakfast was nothing to write home about. It was ok for a one night stay.
Addendum: We were only there one night and it was late when we returned to the room so there was no since coming to the front desk to ask for more pillows once we were settled into bed. I was just letting anyone else know to go ahead and ask when they check in as the pillows are small and they will need more. It was the last room available so you would not have been able to move me to another room. The mattress was ok for one night. It's good to know that Econo Lodge does not normally serve breakfast or is not obligated to serve breakfast. I will mark that for future reference.”

“The room was clean and comfortable. But it was very small. The staff was pleasant, as would be expected.
One complaint is that they advertise having a breakfast. This is also posted in the signage behind the desk. However, no breakfast, no coffee, and the ice machine, and the soda and snack machines, were all out of order. Luckily, we had a lot to do so we didn't stay in the hotel very much.
All in all, I would stay here again. The prices were very reasonable, especially for the area.”

This is another HI GEM within the IHG Family. The workout room was huge, immaculate, and luxurious feel to this hotel. Very little road noise. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. Shout out to Ms. Anita. Breakfast was hot and fresh...all thanks to her.”
