“I was in the store yesterday and while waiting in line, I was listening to the cashier and a customer joke back-and-forth. She was extremely funny and so very polite to the customer. She just kept him laughing and I thought that was so sweet. When I got to the register, she did the same thing. She just seems like a real people person. Her name was KELLI and I just want the manager and anyone who read the reviews to know that she is a lovely person and did a great job. You have a wonderful person representing your company.”

“This store is clean the staff is nice an very helpful. The dollar store used to be a inexpensive alternative to the higher-priced stores. You used to be able to get high quality at lower prices. BUT over the last six or seven years it seems as though the prices of their merchandise have gotten more expensive, and the quality and quantity has become less and less over the years. So now the items you usually find, that's cheaper than Walmart, end up being a smaller size, an if your not careful, you will not notice the size being slightly smaller (that's how they trick you), so definitely pay attention not only to the price, but the quantity or size the product lists.”

“Five Below is like a dollar store and a carnival had a very enthusiastic child. I walk in for one thing and leave with glitter slime, a lava lamp, sour candy, a t-shirt that says “Mood,” and no memory of how I got there.
It feels like a reality show. The aisles are wild, the soundtrack is bumpin’, and at any moment I expect someone to yell “You have 60 seconds to fill your cart—GO!” The self-checkout? Questionable. I’m 80% sure I accidentally tipped the machine.
Now let’s talk about the tech section. Bless it. It’s full of $5 headphones that look like AirPods but will cut out the second you put your phone in your pocket. Charging cables that last about as long as a gas station hot dog. Bluetooth speakers that play music and white noise—at the same time. It’s not high-end, but it’s high-effort chaos, and I respect that.
Five stars for fun, absurd deals, and for turning shopping into a low-stakes fever dream. ?️?⚡”
“I will go out of my way to go here versus a couple others in the area. Clean and organized almost all the time. I can actually find things and the shelves are tidy and there's not stuff everywhere in the way. I really appreciate the effort they put in to make it a pleasant shopping experience!”

“Friendly staff. Went in to grab a few things, but wanted to use cash instead of my debit card. Needed 18 cents and was debating on getting change from my car or just using my debit card, the employee (manager?) said she would cover the 18 cents. So that was a nice experience, made things convenient for me.”
“It would really be nice when you walk into a store and the cashier is 5 feet from you and she sees you, she should say hello. Also when you walk up to the register she should ask you how are you, something not stand there and look at you.”

“Best place to steal from. They even put a sign up front telling you when no one is available to check you out because they are busy with freight. I'm not hating...but it seems like a good invitation for thieves. Why is the DG expanding when it can't even staff its current stores?”
