Acadia looks at you as a person, not a number on a credit score. Craig helped me get a very competitive rate on my auto loan. They have also helped me personalize my banking experience with different sub accounts that make my personal finance system work flawlessly. The Broadway branch is my go to branch, the building is impeccable, the staff is friendly, and they even have popcorn sometimes!”

“My new debit card got misdirected at my place of residence and went back to the post office .As l was out of state and my present card was about to expire l called Camden Bank where l hold my account.The assistant manager spent a lot of time running down information and set me up with a new card .and arranged for it to come to me where l was then we destroyed old card.”

“Update NOV 2023I'm upping the score for 2 reasons. #1 It's been about 12 months with no issues, #2 One of the managers contacted me to apologize. He informed me that their staff had not received adequate training on the Truth in Lending Act and, they were taking steps to do better going forward. I actually really appreciated that they were willing to admit fault in this incident and display a genuine effort to improve.Original PostIf you are looking for a mortgage, I would stay far away from Bangor Savings.They were always unprepared, and getting closing disclosures from them was like pulling teeth. On multiple occasions they forced me to sign incorrect documents. After almost daily phone calls, I finally received the correct documents the day before closing.Loan servicing is not much better. The portal provides very little information and since I don’t bank with Bangor Savings, there are no options to pay my mortgage online. My only option to make or change payments is through a 15-20 minute online chat.”
