Acadia Veterinary Hospital

The Barnacle
112 Main St, Bar HarborMy boyfriend and I are from the Portland area and we needed a little getaway so we spent the weekend in Bar Harbor on the off season. We stayed just down the street from The Barnacle and Trevor the bartender took great care of us! He made us feel welcome and just like one of the locals. I asked for an espresso martini without Baileys and he created a dark chocolate orange espresso martini which was the best espresso martini I have ever had. 10/10 service and a great atmosphere that brings you all of the cozy New England vibes you could ask for. It’s a great spot for a quick snack and spirits. Will absolutely be coming back this summer!

Paddy's Irish Pub & Restaurant
50 West St, Bar HarborI come to the island every autumn. There are countless places to dine. I've been to many, but I've got to the point where Paddys is my go to place for dinner. The staff is excellent. The environment is great. The food is fine. I've never had a bad experience.

Veranda at Balance Rock Inn
21 Albert Meadow, Bar HarborA couple days ago, we had the privilege to experience one of the most exquisite dinners we’ve ever had — prepared with artistry, passion, and heart by Chef Aron at Balance Rock Inn, Bar Harbor.
Each course was a masterpiece — from the delicate panna cotta with basil and goat cheese, to the halibut with chamomile and lemongrass, and the unforgettable sutlijaš brulée, inspired by the Balkans.
Thank you, Aron, for inviting us into your kitchen, for your kindness, and for sharing the story behind each dish.
This evening will remain in our memory as a true celebration of taste, culture, and friendship. ?
With sincere gratitude

Black Fly Coffee Co.
107 Main Road, HoldenFirstly, I love the whole drive thru only concept (aside from inside pickup) . Secondly, as someone who has done a lot in food service management, I understand cost of goods and as dumb as it seems, I appreciate how much cream cheese you include for your bagels. You are the ONLY place that gives enough for people like me who are cheeseaholics lol
The intercom system is a bit rough sounding these days, but I know those are expensive to fix.
I appreciate you being affordable compared to similar products elsewhere, and having a good selection of things without having too much so you can focus on doing those things correctly.
Love this place

Side Street Cafe
49 Rodick St, Bar HarborSide Street Cafe was recommended by our hotel because it was a short walk and it was drizzling. We were not disappointed. We were not very hungry so we split the Fish Tacos entree. Delicious, perfectly prepared and just right for 2 people with small appetites. We also split the Chocolate Lava Cake. Great decision along with a good cup of decaf coffee. The house red wine with dinner was a decent pour. \nAs the name says this restaurant is on a side street, not the main street but it is worth checking out.

A Slice of Eden
59 Cottage St, Bar HarborSlice of Eden did an incredible job catering our dessert bar for our wedding. We also absolutely loved our sweetheart blueberry lemon wedding cake! Highly recommend this bakery. We also thoroughly enjoyed popping in for coffee and pastries while we were in town.

The Looking Glass Restaurant
50 Eden St, Bar HarborThe service was great. The hostess, the waitress, and the gentleman that brought me coffee and water were all so friendly. I had an egg (was a little over done for my liking but still good) a pancake and potatoes all very delicious. The view was amazing. Highly recommend trying it.
