61 Margin St, OronoWhat did NOT go well. Uncomfortable, picnic table seating & LOUD industrial acoustics. No lager beer offerings. What DID go well, outdoor propane firepits, Adirondack chairs, social conversation, outdoor bar with food ordering capability. Great IPA selection. NO LAGERS OFFERED! Surprisingly excellent cheeseburgers and fries. We had an excellent evening.

The Family Dog
6 Mill St, OronoGood dogs, good beer, no soda fountain? It has a nice beer garden and the staff were very friendly. We went during happy hour during the summer, so it wasn’t crowded. I expect that will not be the case during the school year. The only things that gave me pause was that the food was fairly expensive for what it was (burgers, dogs, fries, etc.), and for those prices you are expected to bus your own tables. I don’t mind ordering at the counter, but if I’m paying $20 a person, I don’t want to have to bus my own table like I’m at home.
