The Barnacle
112 Main St, Bar HarborMy boyfriend and I are from the Portland area and we needed a little getaway so we spent the weekend in Bar Harbor on the off season. We stayed just down the street from The Barnacle and Trevor the bartender took great care of us! He made us feel welcome and just like one of the locals. I asked for an espresso martini without Baileys and he created a dark chocolate orange espresso martini which was the best espresso martini I have ever had. 10/10 service and a great atmosphere that brings you all of the cozy New England vibes you could ask for. It’s a great spot for a quick snack and spirits. Will absolutely be coming back this summer!

Leary's Landing Irish Pub
156 Main St, Bar HarborAmazing food and service, open year round, and right on the village green. The rodeo burger and shepards pie were both fantastic and I would highly recommend either dish. All the wait staff were incredible and I will be coming back here whenever I have the chance.

Black Fly Coffee Co.
107 Main Road, HoldenFirstly, I love the whole drive thru only concept (aside from inside pickup) . Secondly, as someone who has done a lot in food service management, I understand cost of goods and as dumb as it seems, I appreciate how much cream cheese you include for your bagels. You are the ONLY place that gives enough for people like me who are cheeseaholics lol
The intercom system is a bit rough sounding these days, but I know those are expensive to fix.
I appreciate you being affordable compared to similar products elsewhere, and having a good selection of things without having too much so you can focus on doing those things correctly.
Love this place

A Slice of Eden
59 Cottage St, Bar HarborOn a cold February morning, while all other shops were closed in town, here was a Slice of Eden. True to its name. A small gem, hidden in its own peaceful delight. Turning strangers hungry faces into great big smiles. The egg sandwiches were excellent! I would recommend having breakfast here if you need something quick to go. Thank you and keep on keeping on!

Siam Orchid - Thai - Sushi - Cocktails - Wine - Craft Beer - Terrace
30 Rodick St, Bar HarborIt's a small thai diner, but food is authentic. If you had a long day at the park and need a hot and hearty meal, this is a place to take out from. We tried the fried rice , red , green , masaman curries and noodles . All were tasty
