“One of my favorite places to grab lunch and a bottle of wine for the evening. Small, family owned and operated, and run the old fashioned way with heart and soul.”
“Open very early! It was great to find a large selection of items without having to make the drive to Augusta or Lewiston. This store packs a lot into a smaller space! The store was also clean, well organized, and items were easy to find”
“Love it such a good selection of freah veggies. Wish there waa more fruit, but you can also soend your foodstamps here and earn extra money to spend here. Its a great program to take advantage of!”
“I was visiting the antique mall on a non weekend and I usually venture out into the open space when exiting from the cashier on the left of the mall. I've taken many a moment here to sit at the rocking chairs and look out through the giant mill windows. I knew there was a market here at some point, but forgot and realized it was the Brunswick winter market when I saw all the vendor setups. As I perused the empty vendors, I noticed a farm that I had always wanted to visit having a setup here! I made sure I came this past Saturday during their 3 hour window to check it out. This space is large but it's not so large that I could imagine so much variety -- there is a lot of punch packed into this little market. Wooden wares, fiber arts, apothecaries, cbd, pastries, ready to eat foods, and wonderful veggies, meats, and dairy. I almost think this market is better than the Portland winter market (which I don't frequent that often...). The tables were bursting at the seams full of goods and sundries, it was so nice to peruse the rows of this market. Unfortunately the farm I was looking forward to didn't show this day, but I think that just means needing to venture out here again until they do :)”

36 Centre St, Bath“Truly the best little store in the heart of Bath. Between the abundance of quality food products, to the local lunch, bread and dessert items brought in almost daily, to the charm of the old building itself, it's a wonderful experience from the moment you walk through the door. The staff are warm, kind and friendly and always happy to help. Supporting other local business, stores and farms in the process of providing you with all of the essentials you need on their own, it would be a shame not to at least give this store a visit. You won't be disappointed.”
“??✨ Awesome store! Everything I need. Groceries, meats, often locally grown items in season, greeting cards, handmade items, great for gifts, too! Homemade baked goods. ??✨”
“It's great to have a place to get my bulk herbs, supplements and organic foods near-by. They pack a lot of stuff into a small place! I've always had a good experience there. Been going there for 11 years.”

35 Elm St, Brunswick“We love this store, it is an important part of my business (Bohemian Coffee House and Deli) we’ve found the hidden gem of this store is the team in the “Hannaford ToGo” department! They are worth their weight in GOLD!! Not only do we actually save money as a business using this service, my employee only spends 5 minutes picking up groceries that would normally take him over an hour to shop traditionally for but the quality of the picks are superb!! Keep up the great work!!!!! They definitely deserve any bonuses and promotions they can be given!!”
“I love this Hannaford! The snoxfox sushi is out of this world amazing, and the sushi chefs are so nice!Hannafords always has great produce and good deals. I just wish their deli would bring back the blackberry pistachio salad- literally the best salad ever!”

185 Front St, Bath“Great local grocery store in downtown Bath. It is smaller than a large supermarket, but much bigger than a typical small local grocery store. Friendly staff and good prices. Great location with plenty of parking and near the river. A great alternative to the chain stores. Shop local.”
“I was a few days late to pick up my spiral ham, so asked the meat department gentleman if they had it, because it was supposed to be behind the counter. He couldn't find it, so he picked out another and said "it's on me", I have to say I was impressed. Thank you for being so kind. There is still kindness in the world.”

1 Chandler Dr, Bath“Clean, organized, and fresh produce. Not to many workers available to help but I found what I needed. Deli workers were awesome and friendly. This is a great little Bath, old-school grocery store. Shop the outside and get everything you need. Natural casing hot dogs, haddock, steaks, milk, veggies... easy walk in and out at this Shaws...”
“I love this store, and it's employees! They always have everything you don't think they'll have for being such a smaller grocery store, and customer service is always great. The community truly appreciates them.”
“This Wal*Mart is kind of fancy. It was clean and well organized. The layout makes the store seem huge.We didn't find what we came in for, so I don't know how the employees are. There was a long line at the Self Checkout registers and the customers there looked very annoyed. The bathroom at the back of the store was super clean but the one up front was kinda icky and has a stall blocked off.Overall, it seems to be a nice store.”

147 Bath Rd, Brunswick“The employees were very nice. We aren't from around here, so this store's organization was confusing at first. They seemed generally well-stocked. Other customers were very polite and tolerant of our slowness due to our elderly family member shopping with us.I plan to come here again.”

511 Richmond Rd, Litchfield“Past the double doors your inside - quickly met with a blast of neuvo summer of 2022.5 Igloos and Playmates and beach dinnerware and then it's to the deli if you rip a hard left and after that - produce at eleven o'clock - then it's all ,,blurry confusion - then there's a reestablished connection to rows and registers and women's bikinis. Someone once told me that "big supermarkets (redundant, I know) take from the human experience and the quality" and I can't tell you that I completely disagree. But such are the times now - and smaller pockets in and around New England benefit in more ways than one to have such behemoths lurking around towns and setting roots. Last night this was the Rigs landing spot, myself included and minus the mess the young folk left post meetup (which I picked up - no biggie, let's all pitch in and clean up even if it's not our own) I was awoken by my estranged crow friend Fred. Heaving asiago cheddar bread in his direction - the gulls came - because they were watching, totally dominating the rooftops and flagpole parking lot lights. I've been in Maine for three months, you can take my word on this one - gulls dominant the lots. But back inside I get a equal balance of "it's not my department" dude and that absolutely sweet gal that seems to have a sensory perception when I become confused about peanut butter or the bread to spread it on and many more real life examples - so the scales of customer service satisfaction tip more towards Good.”
“Dear Hannaford, I like your store but have had it with your paper bags. I don't even mind paying for bags, but I want them to work! This happened as I was very carefully moving the bread and bandaids from the cart to my car. I've never once made it from my car to my house with a bag intact. Everyone I know hates them--including your employees. It's worse than not even having bags. My groceries fell into the wet dirty parking lot? not the end of the world, but it is very annoying. And. Yes, I know I should remember my reusable bags, but apparently I can't...”

“I'm normally a Walmart guy but sometimes Target is the place to visit for specific needs. This store is clean and bright with plenty of parking. The CVS pharmacy in the store is convenient for vaccinations of all sorts and always prompt with appointments. Worth a stop next time you visit the nearby mall or the Home Depot just down the road.”

“Recently moved to the area and absolutely love the Bowdoinham County Store! Everyone who works there is a delight and their pizza is amazing. We love the breakfast sandwiches too! Great place”
