“Great store! The broccoli cheddar soup is just amazing. Thanks for offering vegetarian soups and sandwiches. The local skyr is so tasty. And of course, the fresh flowers are beautiful. Love Rosemont Market!”
“Every time I'm in the Portland area I need to go to trader Joe's. The staff, the variety of foods and cleanliness is top notch.I love everything about this store and only hope all trader Joe's are as good. Keep up the good work and see you next time I'm down from Canada...thanks to all.”
“Didn’t have as diverse of a meat selection as some other places I’ve been to in the area but it was conveniently located and had a parking lot. Also, the staff was super nice and assistive although they couldn’t tell use what some of the pre packaged meats were seasoned/ marinated with.
Best thing was they had great prices on most everything I looked at. Especially the meat.”
“Was in Portland for a work trip and this was the closet store to my hotel and seemed to have great reviews. I wasn't disappointed. Easy parking lot to park at . Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Huge selection of spirits and an amazing selection of local craft beers . If you ate in the area definitely make a stop at Bow Street Beverage”
“Fantastic place for quality Italian (and more) food needs, vast selection of specialty items, wine, olive oils, and don't forget the original slab style pizza.”
“The store owners are very friendly. One of the owner run the cash register and always give each customer with a friendly greetings when cashing out. The produces are very fresh and you can't beat the price from other Asian store. If you can't found anything you can always ask the old guy walking around, LOL.”

“I have had really good sandwiches and rice and meat. It’s too bad they aren’t ready for lunch at lunchtime otherwise I’d be there all the time grabbing lunch. The food is very good. Showed up at noon and nothing was ready. Will try next week.”
“Best provisions & butcher around. Incredible value for the quality & knowledge surrounding their products. Will always go to Pat’s for our butcher needs.”
“I was fascinated by the warm and welcoming atmosphere at the market, and ended up purchasing two boxes of Turkish coffee, a baklava sampler, as well as beef Shawarma and Egyptian-style wraps. They bake the wraps fresh daily, and they were incredibly tasty! When I went to pay for my items, the gentleman at the counter offered to give me a tutorial on making the coffee since I had never done it before. It was an incredible experience!”
“Great neighborhood spot with delicious sandwiches! I got the roast turkey Italian style (lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, green pepper, olives, cheese) with mayo and it was bomb. Unusual combo of ingredients so I figured they were probably curated that way for a reason and ?? The turkey wasn’t deli sliced, which at first I was skeptical of, but it was excellent. Loved the simplicity of the available options and they definitely delivered!”
“We picked up some things while in the area. This store had everywhere needed. It was clean and well stocked. We did not know the area and required a map program to navigate our way to and from due to the unusual traffic pattern.”
“Big selection of Shan spice packets and they are alphabetized which makes it quick to find what you need. I used to mail them from New York to my boyfriend who lives up here now so I am glad this place exists, it makes it much easier to get them!”
“greatest customer service and great high quality meat absolutely recommend. i go there all the time to send money, get meat, and have conversations. very friendly staff 10/10 must try again”
“My first visit after hearing about it for some time. Small but efficiently packed market with shelf goods, frozen foods, and refrigerated foods. I was looking for prepared foods (homemade), and was told they are available on weekends. The clerk offered me good advice. Next time, I am coming on a weekend to try the prepared choices, too. A great find”
“So far from my native lands, I've struggled with an inability to find real comida Latina in Maine. This store does not check all of my requisite boxes and I was mysteriously unable to find stuff like soft corn tortillas (at Shaws and Hannaford's you are lucky to get some flour tortillas in a plastic bag), but I did find most of everything else I needed. It's a tiny store, but chock full-- everything ranging from your basic Goya or American-Latino products to more exotic imports.”
“I own the running store on the backside of Rosemont in Scarborough so I am in often. Everyone who works at this location is so kind and lovely to interact with. They have an amazing selection of snacks and meals and their coffee is always brewed to perfection. I will continue to be a loyal Rosemont customer!”
“Well, if you’ve ever wandered into the West End and thought, “I’d like Fresh Approach, but make it boogie,” then Rosemont Bakery is your spot. This place is a real treat for folks who like their breakfast burritos wrapped in locally-sourced pride and their bread fresher than a summer breeze off Casco Bay. It’s the kind of place where you can grab a fancy loaf that costs more than your last parking ticket and feel darn good about it.
Now, don’t get me wrong—I’m not knocking Fresh Approach. That’s the spot for a no-frills bag of chips, head of cabbage, and a Mountain Dew when you’re in a pinch. But Rosemont? Oh no, this place is for the West End crowd who pretend to forget where their Subaru is parked. They’ve got all the goodies: hot breakfast burritos that’ll make you rethink your life choices (in a good way), shelves of local produce, and even the kind of cheese that comes with a story about the goat’s name. It’s like Whole Foods decided to keep it wicked Maine.
The vibe inside is cozy but elevated—you’ll see someone in Carhartts buying organic quiche right next to a guy in a Patagonia vest debating whether kombucha counts as breakfast. The staff is friendly in that Portland kind of way, where you’re not sure if they’re being sarcastic or genuinely excited about your bread selection. And oh, the bread! Soft, crusty, and so local it probably votes in the Portland City Council races.
So, if you’re in the West End and need a quick bite or some groceries that’ll impress your houseguests, Rosemont’s your jam. Just don’t forget where you parked your Subaru.”
“Great Cambodian market with lots of Khmer products available— frozen lemongrass shoots, dried fish, tamarind paste, num ansom, etc. Helpful owners and kind staff.”
“My company uses Hannaford Brothers for a lot of outings. We do all kinds of things outdoors in Maine and we buy the deli meats from Hanford. I just want to say that the deli at the Scarborough Maine location is amazing. In particular an employee by the name of Kris has been very helpful and always kind and her customer service is excellent. She knows the products behind the counter and introduces me to new products all the time. (Cooper cheeses). She gets the five stars.”
“Always clean, easy to navigate, and they always have what I need. Market Basket has better prices so I don't go here often...
I was in a pinch, they had what I needed but I will stick with Market Basket for the regular...
Same same, customer service was great tonight. No changes”
“The store is very clean. The owner and employees are more understanding and they are there to help you quick cash out quick everything is up to date. I am happy to be a customer of the store.”
“A very clean well organized well stocked grocery plus store friendly staff hands down the best of all in maine. I highly recommend you shop there the sales are unbeatable that's fact you do the research and you will agree 100%”
“"If they don't have it, you don't need it". Great selection for the island market, right by the landing of the Ferry lines. Hannigan's is also the island's delivery folks.”
“I don't know why it took me so long to get here! They have so many vegan options! It felt like half the store honestly. Plus a bunch of brands I haven't seen anywhere else”
“Market Basket has always been well stocked and the prices are very reasonable. I like seeing so many varieties of pretty much everything. They have some unique offerings that I rarely see at other supermarkets.”
“Support local small businesses! They definitely don't have everything you've ever wanted but they do have some cool unique local brands & also some good deals on perishable food items that need to move quickly. It's a little higher priced, we joke it's the Cape Elizabeth tax, but well worth it in a pinch. You don't have to deal with crowds and can just pop in and out. Definitely recommend if you're in the area. They also have somemerchandise like T-shirts and bags with Cape Elizabeth on it just in case you're looking for any souvenirs.”
