“Such a cute market with a little something for everyone. Great place to grab a unique gift in a pinch and an easy way to shop local/support small business. Will definitely be back!”

“Today I stopped at this location to do some weekly grocery shopping. Upon entering the parking area, I found the lot to be clean, obstacle free and without maintenance issues. The store was in the same good condition with the shelves amply stocked. I was not acknowledged nor did I receive any welcoming or parting greeting. Additionally, I received no acknowledgement that made me think my business was appreciated in any way. Nowadays I received g”

“Big selection of Shan spice packets and they are alphabetized which makes it quick to find what you need. I used to mail them from New York to my boyfriend who lives up here now so I am glad this place exists, it makes it much easier to get them!”

“They came through for us with a special Father's Day purchase! Sweet & Savory was at the Farmer's Market pre Covid but had not been for a few years. Fortunately a vendor came through and mentioned that they can be found at Lois' Natural Market down the street. Needless to say, we purchased them all as well as a few other treats that interested us.”

“Excellent selection for a smaller grocery store! Prices are the same as bigger stores. I was so happy to find cheese curds here the other day (and everything else I needed for poutine!).”

“Only place I could find that would make a Banana Cream pie last minute for my husband’s birthday and they did not disappoint. Definitely one of the best we’ve had!”

“I'm a little apprehensive to give such a positive review of this store for fear of ruining one of my favorites elements of it- it's hardly ever packed!! Don't get me wrong, people surely shop here, but it never feels like it's overly crowded like some of the other Hannaford locations in the area can. The store is always very clean and it has several self checkout registers. I actually drive past the Millcreek store to go over here because it's worth it to me.”

“Wandered in by chance while visiting Maine this weekend. Wonderful service and you can tell those running it are passionate about the food they provide.Definitely coming back to Maine just for this store. :-)”

“This store I fairly new to our area however, I find it very helpful where it is in it's location! Great place to put that store, I go there very often and always find what I'm seeking at the most reasonable affordable prices! The staff is very friendly and super helpful! I am super grateful to have such a handy store of so many different products all in one store, at discount prices! Thank you!”

“I can't tell you how excited I was to find out that a Rosemont Bakery was going to be moving in so close to my home. All other things aside, their baked goods and fresh made soups are some of the finest I've ever eaten, hands down.”

“I would say Moran's meets expectations. It's a small local spot with your typical deli/quick service options. There is some outside seating for when it's nice out. I had the small salami Italian for lunch. It wasn't as loaded with ingredients as I would've expected, but it was tasty and fresh. The bread was really good. I'd order lunch here again for something quick and easy, and I hear the pizza is good, so that's something to try in the future. Maybe I'd take off half a star just because there aren't a ton of choices, but it gets the job done in a pinch.”

“This is one of my favorite stores to shop. Me, a 67 yr disabled man. The can accomodate everyone , service is great as are the low prices...Worth a visit, by car, bus or walk.”

“We picked up some things while in the area. This store had everywhere needed. It was clean and well stocked. We did not know the area and required a map program to navigate our way to and from due to the unusual traffic pattern.”

“It is a fine store. Decent layout, things are well-marked, and they have items set aside in special area of the aisles for people with different dietary restrictions or requirements. The selection was ok, but for a small store in a small place, it was very good and I got what I needed.”

“I scheduled a vaccination at this Hannaford. The pharmacy technician and pharmacist were very nice and kind. The pharmacist explained everything that I needed to know about the vaccine. She prepared me for the actual shot. I was grateful for that. Almost 24 hours later, I have a few side effects, which she also explained to me. I will be going back there to have the follow-up shot.”

“Generally speaking a very good branch of this store. The butchery is small so dont expect your prime cuts to come from here. The fishmonger is better though, and usually has a good selection and good prices. Veggies are standard.”

“Adorable market and bakery on the east end. We were staying in a B&B in the neighborhood and visited this spot every day while we were there.Picked up a variety of items, a great bottle of wine some nice fruit, yogurt, water, prepackaged salad, Pastries, baked goods and more.Very friendly people, great selection. I was especially impressed with the variety of unique wines they carried. Wish I had some thing like this in my neighborhood back home!”

“Nice grocery store. Ordered cooked lobster and steamers from the seafood department. They were clean, hot and ready on time. Still hot after reaching the house and ready to eat.Highly Recommend ordering cooked lobsters and steamers. Some items to consider is that the other seafood is not all fresh items like above. Ask before purchasing. We bought some of the frozen shrimp and other defrosted fish.Cooking the fish and shrimp on the BBQ turned out very good and all guests said it was very delicious.”

“Stopped in for a specific brand of scotch, but they didn't have it. The selection, was pretty good, and the employee was friendly. 4 stars only because they didn't have what I had gone in for.”

“I locked my keys, phone and purse in my car at this store and had no way of contacting anyone for assistance. The manager and her co workers were very kind offering help in every way possible. Very grateful for their generosity.”

“This branch doesn't seem as busy as the one we went to in Florida, or perhaps even as busy as this location used to be. That includes the gas pumps as well. I guess that is good for me but maybe not so good for them. Otherwise the store is very similar to what I am used to as far as selection and service. If you are familiar with them and are considering whether to become a member, the plus is that you can save a lot of money on some items, but not all. Back in Florida some items were less expensive at Aldi's;'s, but there are no Aldi's here in Maine. SO what we buy here easily pays more than the cost of membership. The gas is cheaper than most stations, though a station right down the street tries to compete with it, Not much more to say than that.”

“Really impressed with this Hannaford. As a Portland area person, of course my first thought of Hannaford is Forest Ave - but since my office moved over to Riverside, I've frequented this Hannaford quite a bit. Sure, their selection is smaller - like, a lot smaller - than Forest Ave, but what they lack in selection they make up for in customer service. The folks at the deli are fabulous, and through all this virus craziness, they've been very clearly diligent about cleaning/sanitizing/ensuring their customers feel they are doing their due diligence. I went through a checkout the other day and the cashier was great - switched gloves between customers, used sanitizer - she was friendly and gracious when I apologized I even had to be there to get anything!! They've got a hot bar, salad bar, bakery, and produce - what else do you need?! They also have a great selection of Amy's organic frozen meals, which is my go-to. Really fab location.”

“The kindest and most helpful staff I have ever encountered. After traveling the continent for years over 8,000 miles back n forth. By far the best staffed dollar general in the country.”

“I wanted to update my review of this particular Walmart for a very specific reason (I've finally healed from the trauma the elephant inflatable caused; I realize that was more of an issue with Walmart.com than the Walmart in Scarborough), and that's their impressive meat alternative selection in the freezer aisle! As of writing this, they offer not only these well-known brands but an impressive selection from their individual portfolios! Like: + Morning Star Farms (chik patties*, sausage, crumbles, bacon, chick'n and waffle sandwiches, and sausages on a stick wrapped in blueberry pancakes*) + Gardein (mandarin orange crispy chick'n*, ground be'f, chick'n strips, f'sh filets*, turk'y cutlets*, and their ultimate chick'n filet*s, ultimate nuggets°, ultimate buffalo chick'n wings, ultimate sausage links°) + Beyond (plant-based seared steak tips, meatballs, nuggets, crumbles, sausage) + Impossible (bowls, chicken patties, meatballs) + JUST (folded egg*) AND they also offer a bunch of newer brands/brands I haven't found elsewhere in Greater Portland: + Tattooed Chef (plant based beef burrito* and chicken burrito bowls, plant based cheese enchiladas, açai bowls, and more [I am starting to see these at select Hannafords now]) + Daring (plant chicken wings°, cajun chicken wings, grilled chicken pieces, lemon and herb chicken pieces) + Omni (plant-based potstickers°, spring rolls°, luncheon meat, crab cakes°) + Simulate (plant-based tenders°, spicy nuggs, and dino-shaped nuggs) + Wholly Veggie (plant-based mozzarella style sticks, cheddar style jalapeño sticks°, ranch cauliflower wings, buffalo cauliflower wings, and more) + Happi Foodi (plant-based potato hash bowl, shawarma bowl, bulgogi bowl, enchilada bowls) * = items I particularly love! ° = items I haven't tried yet but am excited to! While I try to support local as much as I possibly can, sometimes my budget is just tight. A lot of our grocery budgets are tight. And if you're also trying to live an entirely (or at least mostly) plant-based lifestyle, things get even more expensive. It's all a balance, right? I don't want to buy from Walmart, I do want to buy from these brands; these brands are cheaper at Walmart. See what I'm saying? (I do stand by my previous review on some points, though. This particular Walmart: - has the most chaotic parking lot; no one knows who's doing what, there are some places you can drive in but not drive out, some places that mysteriously have dead-ends, and being a pedestrian? YIKES - so park as far as you can and walk in is my advice! - is **always** dirty. - the Customer Service line is as confusing as the parking lot - skip if possible.)”
