“We went here for takeout lunch while visiting family in the area, off-season from the summer rush. Great variety of sandwiches, prepped meals, baked goods, craft beer, and more. So many options, not enough time to try them all. It's not inexpensive, but it's worth the splurge.”

“I own the running store on the backside of Rosemont in Scarborough so I am in often. Everyone who works at this location is so kind and lovely to interact with. They have an amazing selection of snacks and meals and their coffee is always brewed to perfection. I will continue to be a loyal Rosemont customer!”
“Big selection of Shan spice packets and they are alphabetized which makes it quick to find what you need. I used to mail them from New York to my boyfriend who lives up here now so I am glad this place exists, it makes it much easier to get them!”
“My first visit after hearing about it for some time. Small but efficiently packed market with shelf goods, frozen foods, and refrigerated foods. I was looking for prepared foods (homemade), and was told they are available on weekends. The clerk offered me good advice. Next time, I am coming on a weekend to try the prepared choices, too. “Small store with a small staff. However, the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Surprising selection of some niche items, but generally has just the basics. Produce, Bakery, and Deli tend to be well tended, stocked, and fresh - even late in the day.
Pharmacy is overwhelmed by number of customers for its size, but the staff is hard working, knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and communicates well.”

They have most of what you are looking for and even items that you don’t see anymore. Definitely could use faster baggers, but all in all it’s our favorite grocery store.”
“Adorable market and bakery on the east end. We were staying in a B&B in the neighborhood and visited this spot every day while we were there.Picked up a variety of items, a great bottle of wine some nice fruit, yogurt, water, prepackaged salad, Pastries, baked goods and more.Very friendly people, great selection. I was especially impressed with the variety of unique wines they carried. Wish I had some thing like this in my neighborhood back home!”
“I wanted to update my review of this particular Walmart for a very specific reason (I've finally healed from the trauma the elephant inflatable caused; I realize that was more of an issue with Walmart.com than the Walmart in Scarborough), and that's their impressive meat alternative selection in the freezer aisle! As of writing this, they offer not only these well-known brands but an impressive selection from their individual portfolios! Like: + Morning Star Farms (chik patties*, sausage, crumbles, bacon, chick'n and waffle sandwiches, and sausages on a stick wrapped in blueberry pancakes*) + Gardein (mandarin orange crispy chick'n*, ground be'f, chick'n strips, f'sh filets*, turk'y cutlets*, and their ultimate chick'n filet*s, ultimate nuggets°, ultimate buffalo chick'n wings, ultimate sausage links°) + Beyond (plant-based seared steak tips, meatballs, nuggets, crumbles, sausage) + Impossible (bowls, chicken patties, meatballs) + JUST (folded egg*) AND they also offer a bunch of newer brands/brands I haven't found elsewhere in Greater Portland: + Tattooed Chef (plant based beef burrito* and chicken burrito bowls, plant based cheese enchiladas, açai bowls, and more [I am starting to see these at select Hannafords now]) + Daring (plant chicken wings°, cajun chicken wings, grilled chicken pieces, lemon and herb chicken pieces) + Omni (plant-based potstickers°, spring rolls°, luncheon meat, crab cakes°) + Simulate (plant-based tenders°, spicy nuggs, and dino-shaped nuggs) + Wholly Veggie (plant-based mozzarella style sticks, cheddar style jalapeño sticks°, ranch cauliflower wings, buffalo cauliflower wings, and more) + Happi Foodi (plant-based potato hash bowl, shawarma bowl, bulgogi bowl, enchilada bowls) * = items I particularly love! ° = items I haven't tried yet but am excited to! While I try to support local as much as I possibly can, sometimes my budget is just tight. A lot of our grocery budgets are tight. And if you're also trying to live an entirely (or at least mostly) plant-based lifestyle, things get even more expensive. It's all a balance, right? I don't want to buy from Walmart, I do want to buy from these brands; these brands are cheaper at Walmart. See what I'm saying? (I do stand by my previous review on some points, though. This particular Walmart: - has the most chaotic parking lot; no one knows who's doing what, there are some places you can drive in but not drive out, some places that mysteriously have dead-ends, and being a pedestrian? YIKES - so park as far as you can and walk in is my advice! - is **always** dirty. - the Customer Service line is as confusing as the parking lot - skip if possible.)”
“Always clean, easy to navigate, and they always have what I need. Market Basket has better prices so I don't go here often...
I was in a pinch, they had what I needed but I will stick with Market Basket for the regular...

“I love shopping at Hannaford especially using the app for deals coupons and rewards. The Colonial Marketplace in Standish only has one entrance/exit and its to route 25. It’s ALWAYS backed up every afternoon for a couple hours. Traffic has gotten soooooo bad in this area. Can’t just run to the store anymore….”
“Hannaford's an expensive place to buy groceries.. Walmart and market basket are cheaper. But they have amazing produce and it's a good place to stop on the fly.”
“My husband and I stopped here on our way out of town for a week in the mountains. We got all of our vegan basics. But, more importantly, we got a fortifying and delicious breakfast. I loved my kale salad with tofu (I know - not typical breakfast food) and fresh pressed juice. My husband enjoyed his burrito. It was basic but solid with Just egg, tempeh bacon, and Violife smoked Gouda. They have a few tables outside if you want to eat there.”

“This is a nice, well organized store with a wide selection of products. But what impressed me enough to write a review was the service we received at their pharmacy. The pharmacy staff clearly care about their customers, and go above and beyond to help them. I highly recommend the Westbrook Hannaford‘s store and particularly their pharmacy.”
“Really impressed with this Hannaford. As a Portland area person, of course my first thought of Hannaford is Forest Ave - but since my office moved over to Riverside, I've frequented this Hannaford quite a bit. Sure, their selection is smaller - like, a lot smaller - than Forest Ave, but what they lack in selection they make up for in customer service. The folks at the deli are fabulous, and through all this virus craziness, they've been very clearly diligent about cleaning/sanitizing/ensuring their customers feel they are doing their due diligence. I went through a checkout the other day and the cashier was great - switched gloves between customers, used sanitizer - she was friendly and gracious when I apologized I even had to be there to get anything!! They've got a hot bar, salad bar, bakery, and produce - what else do you need?! They also have a great selection of Amy's organic frozen meals, which is my go-to. Really fab location.”

“I had a mechanical issue with my trailer that took a few hours to resolve. The staff unloaded my trailer amazingly fast so I could make it home. I can't say how much I appreciated it......Amazing”
“It's got a decent inventory. I try to always get my gas here because of the discount. Sometimes people are how should I say... Aloof and don't understand that you can pump gas on either side regardless of which side your gas tank is on because the hoses at the pump will reach far enough so they end up waiting in line because they refuse to go to the open spot that isn't on the side where their gas tank is. Could use a better attendant to guide traffic and educate people on this.”
“There are too many items locked up behind glass cases which require the assistance of an employee. This is the reason why I usually avoid going into Walmart unless absolutely necessary.”

“Hannaford in Gorham, ME is a fantastic store. Very clean and maintained. The produce is fresh and always stocked. The meat dept staff are very energetic and happy, gives the store a great feel. The staff are helpful and friendly.
This is an update review...
I do wish the hannaford app/rewards was easier to use. It seems most employees dont know how to use it or have the answers. It becomes frustrating.
But still a 5 star for me !!”
