“My husband and I went into the store and bought a Blackstone grill at the advice of the guys down there. They were right it is the best grill we have ever had. They also knew that my husband could not physically pick up the grill to get it into our vehicle or to unload it when we got home. So they delivered it. That is the nicest thing a store has ever done. Thanks Ace in Greene”

“Wow. We are SO happy we discovered this great Maine company! Not only is the 16’ step ladder perfect for reaching our ridiculously high cathedral ceiling, the service and product are top-notch. My husband called and arranged for delivery (fast, two day, door-to-door) but got overly anxious to replace our ceiling fans and picked up the ladder in person. Black Bear crew were exceptional. He came back with a high quality ladder at a reasonable price, and raved about the great service. Highly, highly recommend. We will certainly be telling our friends to skip the big box stores and call Black Bear. Thanks, guys. You’re the best!”

“This is a good Hardware Store, They have a lot of inventory. Its surprising what you'll find here. Been coming here for years. Brad , the new owner, is there to serve his customers, he goes over and beyond to help you find what you need. His employees are always helpful, respectful, and knowledgeable as well. Good old fashioned customer service! Ask for Tux , he's probably most knowledgeable of store layout.”

“Went to buy a mechanics tool cart at the new Oxford store. They had forgotten to remove the sale which had passed but honored the sale price for me. The two ladies who helped me were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They even went so far as to load my purchase in my car. I always liked harbor freight and now I like them more!”

“Have reviewed this nationwide chain in the past ...stopped in looking for some Astroturf, to replace the old decrepit piece I already have. And I believe I initially saw it priced at this time for no more than $20. On my return for its purchase 1 week later (2 days ago) it was priced at $25+ for an 8x7 sized piece. I did not pursue with staff - no big deal.”
