“We stopped in here after a long drive and thankfully it was still open. It was 7pm, which can be a bad time to look for food in the area. We found everything we needed in the grocery section and the deli has a nice selection of bread, sandwiches, meat and cheese. Looked like a decent wine selection, too. The workers were friendly and offered suggestions. Location is ideal, right in the middle of DT Camden.”

“Great place with friendly people and great service. Prices are higher than the mainland but ( you are on an Island ‍) great selection and lunch specials were delicious. Definitely worth a visit when you are on island.”

“In the entire time Dollar General has been at this Belfast location, I've never seen it look so good! Thanks to the hard work, and dedication of LaTisha Robert's, it's now a store I enjoy shopping in! It's become cleaner, well stocked, and better organized! 5 stars now, because it was a wreck before!”

“Honestly the first good experience I've had at a super market in so long. The staff was incredibly kind and sweet and the place was clean and well kept. Management was super helpful to when looking for an item. Customers were also super kind and friendly.”

“I'm writing this review in response to Tati Li's previous post. While I don't know the specifics of their experience, I want to offer some context about the staff member in question. The individual has autism and, as a result, may come across as quiet and reserved. However, once you get to know them, they're more than happy to engage in conversation.
As someone with several years of retail experience, I can attest that it's standard practice for employees to keep conversations brief and focused on the transaction. Additionally, staff are often instructed to check customers' carts to ensure nothing is left behind.
I understand that having a poor experience can be frustrating, but it's essential to consider the full situation before criticizing an individual. Notably, the staff member in question wears a pin that reads, 'Please be patient with me, I have autism.' If you had seen this pin, you might have understood their behavior differently.
Let's strive to be more empathetic and understanding, especially when interacting with individuals who may have unique needs or challenges.”

“The Belfast store really is the best of their locations in our region. I'm especially grateful for their superior produce. The staff is what makes it a great place to shop however!”

“Was visiting the area & searching for some baked goods. Referred here by a local & wasn't disappointed. Good thing we stopped by ahead of time since pre-ordering was needed. A bit pricey but still better than store bought. The workers will entertain you for sure- nit lacking for conversation!”

“A Maine version of a convenience store, but really a full service grocery at the same time. They often carry things that Hannaford's doesn't, and if we need something on short notice, it's the closest place. Good selection, and competitive prices. Occasionally get strange looks from people who work there, but that might be me. I am a bit strange looking. :)”

“They were stocking everything and I had to get the fruit stocker to open a box of apples for me, he was very helpful and polite. The deli staff were very helpful also! Nice store”

“Wow! This place is a gem. I was looking for beer to take back to the hotel and had no signal, so I just started driving when I saw this place. Ooh a convenience store, they must have beer . . . . they definitely have beer. Lots of craft beer. I'm talking shelves and shelves of local craft beer. I was beside myself on what I should choose. The gentleman that helped me was also very knowledgeable (maybe the owner?). If around Camdon and a fan of craft beer. Please check this place out.”
