“I always stop by when I’m in Portland. One of the few places I can find a few 1950-60s finds though it’s all in the luck of what sizes and items are available at the time. Always worth a stop by for a rare find!”

“Such a cute shop I saw while wandering around Portland. I loved that most or all of the stuff as locally made. I ending up getting a cute pennant flag and a postcard. The vibes were great”

“Fantastic shop! Well curated and more than reasonably priced! Stopped in here while roadtripping through Maine and found tons of stuff. The guy in the shop was also kind enough to ship them back home for me as I doubt I would’ve been able to fit all my finds in my carry-on lol. Definitely worth your time if you are in Portland.”

“Madlyn’s is an amazing and well priced consignment store. I found so many goodies and could have spent all day there! Madlyn herself is incredibly gracious and kind, I cannot say enough good things about my experience at her store. I can’t wait to come back soon and consign come of my stuff!”

“Extremely cool. Staff was helpful and kind. Happy with our purchase of a postcard, would buy more if I were back in the area and could return (we were visiting from Michigan)!!”

“I have lousy luck at the traditional stores, plus I love giving old wardrobe pieces new life. I try to go in at least 1x a month to make sure I don't miss out on the deals and I get compliments anytime I wear something I've bought here. The items are size-inclusive, always in great condition and wonderfully priced. love chatting with Jen; she is kind, hard-working and hilarious! Plus she always has the BEST tunes playing while I shop ♡”

“the absolute best thrift clothes store period. The quality they take in is good and the prices are great. it's the type of place that makes you realize new clothes are a scam, both in terms of price and quality (they don't make 'em' like they use to). Nothing else even compares and I've been to 'em' all.”

“Beautiful little shop with a curated selection of high-quality clothes and toys! Love stopping by whenever I'm around for gifts or items for my daughter. Kind and helpful service too. Only wish I lived closer!”

“I stumbled across this gem while visiting Portland and was completely blown away! Yes, the prices are a bit higher than your typical thrift store, but that’s because of the quality and brands they carry—it’s 100% worth it. Everything was in excellent condition, full of gently loved pieces at a fraction of the original retail price.

Even though I’m from South Carolina, I’ve continued to shop online and have been so impressed by the incredible customer service, fast shipping, and how responsive the staff is. My suitcase was actually overweight from how many amazing finds I brought home—no regrets!

I saw another review mention a lack of size variety, but that absolutely wasn’t my experience. My girlfriend and I both found pieces we loved—and she’s six feet tall! They truly have something for everyone.

Can’t recommend this place enough. You girls are crushing it—thank you for creating such a fun, inclusive, and stylish shopping experience!”

“This place has so many fun, curated gifts. I picked up these dessert utensils for my toddler as he transitions to adult utensils and they’re stunning. He actually enjoys using them. $16 each and totally worth it!

There are so many fabulous things but the store is tight so strollers are tough getting through.”

“The food is frankly phenomenal - it's themed around delicious Cajun fare, but your traditional bar staples (*cough* try the fries *cough*) are also absurdly good.

The cosy atmosphere is reminiscent of Cheers, there is frequent live music, and the best part is that (outside of live performances) they don't blast the music! You can hear yourself think and have a conversation without yelling, a rarity these days.

Bonus points because all their stools/chairs solidly touch ground with all four legs, so no wobbling all night because you got the dud seat.

Gardens outside for those who are into plants, and an eclectic consignment store right next door for that good wandering.

Haven't tried the breakfast/brunch menu yet, but excited to go back for that.”

“Always SOMETHING, and the half off day means you're walking out with some steals. Very friendly staff. Well organized and clean.

Was kinda sad that this is the third time I've come across a record player at a thrift store with no cord... But, oh well!
I'm a big guy too so it's nice because they usually have stuff in my size.”
