“I love this family business! I love the multitude of options available. The store layout is easy to maneuver around. Most of the family are pretty amazing. The only exception being the sandwich makers, whose attitude could definitely improve towards their customers. The food is fantastic. I have been going since I was a child and bring my kids often to pick up sandwiches and snacks for a treat.”
“I love this place. Friendly helpful staff. Wide selection of a variety of products. The bake shop is amazing with competitive prices. I can't wait for their Macoun apples that are picked at just the right time and are sweet and crisp and perfect. Best I've ever had.”
“I go there because it's convenient to where I live but I have noticed the prices there seem to be higher than other Hannaford stores, and I'm assuming it's because it's privately owned. It's run differently than the regular larger stores. And of course being a smaller store, they don't have everything that is in the larger ones so I use it mainly to stock up on things that go on sale. Like I said before it's not far from my house so I will pick up maybe milk or fruit if it's on sale but I do the bulk of my grocery shopping at other stores when I make it into town. I will say however it is a very clean looking store and seems to be run pretty good.”
“Good people good meat, this store makes there money on fruit and veggies, please don't be afraid to spend a little extra on veggies here it's what helps keep these store in business and alive. Stay away from inter state stores like Walmart, as what you buy there doesn't go back to the Maine economy”

“Shows is the best! I prefer it over Hannaford. It has better deals. I tested it a few times to see because a lot of people were telling me. No Hannaford has better deals but I saved way more money at shaws. They have fresh of fruit in my eyes. Fresher, me and everything's just fresher. Everything is more organized and looks less messy and to me. Hannaford is a lot dirtier and general period unfortunately, I left closer to Hannah for those, I have to go there a little bit more often than Shaw's. But now that I just got a car back on the road shows it will be.”
“Went here for the first time the other night to get fancy steaks to cook at home, could not have been happier. An excellent cut of meat and very helpful staff. Also grabbed the biggest cabbage I have ever seen. We will be returning soon!”
“Clean, and always stocked on everything. Their produce is fresh and I've never gotten bad fruit or vegetables. Their whole store is well planned out, and well stocked. Great meat section, great selection of frozen foods. No complaints.
I'm retired, so I do try to go on off hours because some days it's hard to find a parking place, even though the parking lot is plenty large for the size of the store.”

> Shaw’s is that grocery store where you go for milk and leave with existential questions and 4 boxes of cereal you didn’t need. The aisles are long enough to host marathons, and the self-checkout machines still don’t trust me after all these years.
The produce section? Looks like it’s seen some things. But the rotisserie chickens? Absolute legends.
Verdict: Where diets go to die and coupons go to live their best life.
Smells like nostalgia and 10% off frozen pizza.”

“Close by, usually have a pretty good selection of items. I know they are probably pretty overwhelmed with more items coming in so often, it's gotta be hard to find room.
The staff I speak of "younger guy & young girl ALWAYS EXTRA HELPFUL! Hands down I gotta say customer service has been excellent ?
As for stuff always throughout the isles ??♀️it happens, it's way over stocked I feel for whoever has to find space for it all?
Overall not bad at all... Could be much worse. I appreciate them for working & staying open ?”

“This place is convenient for its location for sure ..the area it’s located at may be a lil rough for some that don’t know the area well ..but from what I seen as well as experienced every time I go their is the staff/workers area very decent people to everyone..they know must of their customers greatly or at least the treatment reflects that .. very cool to see that some businesses have that family kinda feeling they treat all theirCustomers like their the most important clients around ..some people may not have any people in their world that cares enough to ask about their day but this store does that ..very cool to see that people are still friendly to everyone that enters this location as they do ….”
“I have had great service at this location. Although it can be challenging to get in contact with them through phone (I tend to just swing by in person) and they're typically booked out fairly far, especially as winter closes in, the mechanics there are always helpful and honest.
They've been struggling with low staffing for quite a while, which the employees themselves can't really help. They usually are fairly busy when I arrive, so it takes longer than you might expect for a rotation and balance, but honestly it's no worse than Tire Warehouse, for example, who I've waited on for almost 2 hours just for a tire swap.
All things considered, I've never had a negative interaction with the employees there, and they have been honest with me about what they have lined up and a fair estimate of when I should expect to have my car serviced.
I got a great deal on tires at BJs with free rotations, balancing, AND flat repair, and that's is well worth the wait in my opinion. Honestly the best deal I've ever gotten on a quality set of tires.
It seems that low reviews are pertaining to the wait time and lack of efficiency, but give them a chance. It's not their fault the company can't get more people hired.”
“Great shopping experience. Had everything I needed. Workers and fellow shoppers are friendly and self checkouts work great. I have a poop fetish. Lots of allergy friendly products too. As I'm out of a job, I might consider working here.”
