“Had our wedding in Oakland this past September and ordered a bunch of 3' subs from D&L for lunch the day of our wedding. Everything was excellent -- the subs were delicious, price was fair, ordering ahead was easy, and service was great. They even put toothpicks with flowers on them which was such a nice touch! Highly recommend.”
“The pizza is super thin and has really great flavor, we’ve also had their meatball sub and chicken parm sub and both were better then anywhere else we’ve tried. The bread for the subs do not become soggy and stays fresh even after sitting for a bit.”

For the area, it offers a decent number of services right in the center of town.I have found staff to generally be pleasant, helpful and appropriately staffed. “wonderful staff and management. the very personal management gives it that locally owned small town feel but, clean and professional. very down to earth personnel. good parking and place to view downtown. take time to look up at the historic primitive art or enjoy a coffee in the Skowhegan Indians shade. a good starting point to start viewing the town.”
