“I give this market 4 stars because of its location, convenience, friendliness and lack of crowds. The market inside is a bit dated but it is clean and the selection is good for a small market. I often avoid the larger and newer Hnnafords so that I can get in and out quickly. It's the only local place to buy Shayne's of Maine ice cream!”

“Our Historic( been there for decades) Local Store. Nothing else tastes the same as a Village Tie-Up Italian Sandwich. Shop by Air, Land or Water. ( Seaplane & Boat Dock.) Picnic Out Back and see Picturesque Views of Long Lake. Air Pump for Tires out Front. Gasoline, Diesel , Kerosene and Propane. Bag Ice out Front. Delicious Pizza… phone it in! Beer, Wine, Spirits , Coffee & Soda. Bottled Water too. Butter, Milk , Eggs and Various & Sundry Groceries. Some Automotive Fluids. Fishing is good off the Docks. Ducks and Loons abound with an occasional Bald Eagle to be observed fishing!”
“Always love The Lake Store that's been around since my Dad was a kid! The outside is bring remodeled, I'm hoping the original decor is hung back up for nostalgic reasons but if not The Lake Store has some of the best food from their deli, yummy desserts, fresh donuts every morning & you can still boat, sail, paddle over via any water mode you choose! Friendly, clean, popular”

“A lifesaver in a desert of gas stations. I had set an alarm to buy gas before my lawn trip from Portland to northern New Hampshire. Google routed me the back way which I normally don’t take and my tank had 21 miles left when I found them. Thank God modern gas stations have credit card acceptor when they’re closed”
