“Was here for a quick girls trip for a bachelorette and loved everything about our stay. The host Patrick was so helpful giving us a tour of the property upon check in and giving us incredible dinner recommendations (probably some of the best food I’ve had ever!) Our room was so comfortable and charming. For breakfast, Patrick made us pancakes and bacon which were delicious. Would recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a quaint stay in close proximity to the beaches! Will definitely be back again!”

“My stay at village by the sea started off a little rocky due to a plumbing issue but Jill the manager went out of her way to make the situation right so me and my girls could enjoy the rest of our vacation. Our room was beautiful. Would definitely stay again.”

“I rated 5 stars with the understanding that this isn't a 5 star resort in that way but it's awesome for this area. Staff is helpful and friendly, rooms are just what you need, facilities are kept up with a great indoor pool/ hot tub and outdoor grounds with picnic and play area. We come to bike the shore and hit the local towns as it is between Kennebunkport and Ogunquit. It is right on the estuary and within walking distance to a grocery store, a brewery and popular restaurant.”

“Location is great for trip to wells/ogunquit. Across the street is a grocery store for quick trip. They have a pool ( closes at 7pm). The rooms have microwave, mini fridge, and TV (small). They have been some renovations since the owners acquired the inn a couple years ago but they state there will be more. These rooms are good as most of your fun will be outside of the room anyhow. The beds were soft. Enjoy the charm of the inn.”

“Not bad at all. Quaint. Cute location. Hard to go wrong here, though. Overall not top tier, but a great place to crash on a whim for the night. AC worked well, cute wraparound porch, but got no briefing on the wifi. Laura is amazing and helpful.”

“A wonderful motel, rooms set
Back from US 1, no noise. Very clean room, clean bed sheets and bathroom. Good AC, and the heater at night was warm and quiet. Excellent staff who were very helpful about services (laundry) in the area. New, modern refrigerator, good tv and a large selection of channels. Great price for a great stay.”

“The rooms were clean from what I seen and the air conditioner smelt weirdly good. Didnt smell musty or moldy so that was a plus. The beds were comfy and floors were clean. We stayed one night so i dont have much to say i guess. Spots nice love the pool. I like how they have basketball courts and tennis courts + the fireplace.”

“If you are thinking about booking this Hotel when you visit Wells Maine , don’t think twice it’s alright ,just go ahead and book. The hotel was clean and new and we had a very welcoming check in. We checked in later at night after a long trip and Kayla was warm , welcoming and accommodating. The room was very clean, quiet and the beds were really comfortable. We got great rest for the 3 night we were there. I especially liked that the shades completely black out the room just in case you sleep in. The pool was really clean and new and perfect. Great location near the beaches and across the st from the grocery store and gas station. Thank you Kayla and Holiday Inn we really enjoyed and are grateful for our stay at your hotel.”
