Clean modest room with amazing air conditioning, all the amenities, coffee, snacks, tea 24 hrs a day. Anthony was the best host. Beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas available. Very close proximity to the beach and town.”
“We just completed our favorite of the stays at Captain's Quarters Ogunquit. The room was spacious, clean, and cozy for the winter. Our ten year old pup Wolfie always loves it there. Cheers to Peter, Bruce and the team for making us feel at home in Maine.”
“My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Auberge on the Cove. Having spent time in the area my entire life, 30+ years, I had always wanted to stay here and was so glad that we did. The convenience of being right in Perkins Cove and within walking distance of Ogunquit was fabulous. We enjoyed meals, shopping and a lobster tour (Finest Kind) all within said walking distance. Our room was thoroughly cleaned daily and amenities were sufficient. Highly recommend for a convenient, quaint, no frills stay.”
“Studio East Motel is a great option for those visiting Ogunquit. It’s convenient and budget friendly. The location is a huge plus, about a 5-minute walk into town, making it easy to explore. Also there is a very good bakery next door with great coffee!
The motel is also dog friendly, offers on-site parking, and has clean, comfortable rooms. We appreciated the kitchenette area, which was convenient. Also includes a small fridge and freezer. The staff were friendly and welcoming.
The biggest area for improvement is the WiFi. Unfortunately, it either didn’t work or was extremely slow during our visit. This was a major inconvenience because cell service in the area is already spotty. Without reliable WiFi, it became difficult to research things to do, make plans, or even communicate with friends staying in another room. We couldn’t call or text each other because neither the cell service nor the WiFi was dependable.
Overall, Studio East Motel is a great value for the location and clean accommodations, but improving the WiFi would significantly enhance the experience. Please fix it!”

“We've only been here one day but I'm very impressed. It's a lovely place with lovely employees. Of course this is the last week of May and most families are not on vacation yet so I'm sure the quietness of the place is exaggerated by that fact. May is a good month to come here for sure! I look forward to sitting around the pool this afternoon... But the beach came first. 😂”

“The location is the best! Close to restaurants and entertainment! A couple minute walk over the bridge to the beach and Ogunquit Beach is gorgeous. Also short walk to Marginal Way. The staff are super friendly and the rooms are good size. We had a kitchenette which was great. The room was clean and grounds are beautifully maintained with chairs out overlooking the water.”

“Location was on the water with everything in walking distance. Staff were friendly and the room was clean. Downside was the A/C unit are very loud in the rooms and like all New England resorts that have been around a while, there is no elevators. So if you have any issues with mobility or hauling your luggage up stairs, makesure you get a floor unit.”

“If you are looking for a warm welcome, a front porch overlooking the water to start your day and a location that is just steps from the beach and all of the shops and restaurants on Shore Rd, Terrace by the Sea is all of this and more.
This hotel has been our top choice when traveling to Ogunquit for years. The rooms are air conditioned and comfortable (some with notable renovations as well). The day begins with complimentary continental breakfast along the wrap around front porch.
The property is well maintained and also provides a comfortable lawn with Adirondack chairs overlooking the beach to start and end the day on. There is a pool for ease when you’re not on the beach.
For the 4th of July, the Terrace team along with some long time guests come together to put on a bbq for the guests along with live music and the best spot to view the fireworks which are set off directly across the beach from the property.

“Room was exceptionally clean and well equipped. Staff was super friendly. Smoking area was pretty basic and exposed to weather, but at least smoking areas are offered. Sauna was out of order while we were there, but not a big deal. Would definitely stay again.”
“Boom at Admiral’s Inn & Gunpowder Suites was, without question, the highlight of my week in Antigua — I ended up going five times, which probably tells you everything you need to know.
The infinity pool alone is worth it — overlooking the water, perfectly calm, and never felt overcrowded. It’s the kind of place where you actually relax, not just say you did. I also had one of the best spa treatments I’ve had in a long time — a 90-minute deep tissue massage that was exactly what I needed.
They offer a day pass for $115 USD, and it’s an incredible value. It includes a reserved lounger with an umbrella, full access to the pool, a three-course lunch, and two cocktails. The food and drinks exceeded expectations — I kept going back to the Gunpowder Margarita, which was easily my favorite.
What really made the experience, though, was the service. Shareen (apologies if I’m misspelling) and her team were warm, attentive, and genuinely made the experience feel special every time I visited.
I was in Antigua while my partner was training for the RORC 600 Caribbean race, and Boom became my go-to spot to unwind. It turned what could have been a long week on my own into something I’ll actually remember as one of my favorite trips.”

“The staff was outstanding from the moment we arrived by making us feel welcome with a drink and plenty of suggestions for our stay. The view from our balcony was beautiful overlooking the river. Continental breakfast was good with an assortment of pastries cereal and eggs.
I would highly recommend staying here.”
“Really enjoyed the outdoor hot tub. Hunter, at the front desk, was friendly and very helpful to us. Staff was quite cheery and readily assisted us. The entire facility was quite clean. We had not been to the resort for quite a few years. We noticed that a good deal of repainting had been done, unsafe stools were removed from the outdoor hot tub and we understand that more renovations are planned. We’re happy to know that one of our favorite resorts is still available to us for future visits.”

“Mark and Scott are wonderful hosts. We enjoyed our stay and want our whole family to join us next time. It’s a definite must when you’re in Ogunquit. The hotel is right near the beach and multiple venues . We are coming back in August.”
