“This is my local go-to mini mart when I need to buy some Monster energy juice(s). My boyfriend and I frequent this Cumberland Farms at least 3 times a week. We were very used to seeing the same group of women employees working there in the mornings. Then there was suddenly this male employee named Brian. He was so busy one morning, it was just customer after customer, and it was early morning. I just want to put it this way, we needed his help with something in the store, but it was hard to even speak to him with so many customers. We actually waited for the customers to stop coming in and when he was free for a moment, he helped us find what we needed. I thought that he was going to rudely write us off, but he didn't and he didn't want to do that. We could tell he must have felt overwhelmed by the amount of customer's at once, with no help, and that he was trying very hard to help everyone in line in a quick and orderly fashion. After that wave of people, I went to the counter and again asked him to help us locate a product, since there were no people in line at that point. I felt like I sounded rude almost, asking him to help us again. But, he did it and apologized profusely about us having to wait. I apologized to him, because I was definitely not trying to sound rude, but I was more adamant about needing his help this time. That is not easy for me, as i am a naturally kind individual. I learned that he didn't find me to sound rude, which really made me happy because I wouldn't want to come off like that. Anyway, he helped save the morning for my boyfriend and I and he was very kind and apologetic about it. He really doesn't have to be apologetic though, that is how customer service jobs are.
Fast-paced, waves of customer crowds, different people different attitudes, and he must've been very frazzled having to deal with so many of us in line. But, he did it well and he was kind when we got to speak to him after the rush of customers. He's just a person like you or me and all you have to do is imagine putting yourself into his position, and then think about how you would handle it. I think he did great! Give that guy a raise!!! “We had to have some emergency type work done on our heating unit at the start of this winter season which led to us having to change from natural gas to something else. After calling around & around I was told their too busy to help, call in the spring. Finally, I called Waltz & Sons & spoke with Kevin who was so helpful, knew exactly what we needed & how much. Also had worked on other projects with our heating guy also which was a plus! Then, the 2 guys came to install 2 tanks & the propane. They were so nice, thoughtful making sure we were happy with the placement. They carefully explained everything we needed to know & how things would go moving forward. I cannot say enough nice things about this company. They are terrific!”

“Dead River provided me with absolutely wonderful service in a moment of need. At 7:00pm in early December my propane fueled heater suddenly stopped working. I called Dead River, got their after hours service, then got a call back from a representative almost immediately. They asked pointed questions, provided me with detailed instructions and explanations, and we determined I had run out of propane. They arranged for a delivery within a couple of hours and called back twice to keep me apprised of the timing of their arrival. The driver informed me when they arrived, filled up the tank, came in my house to ensure that everything was working properly. Both the representative (Judith) and the delivery person were extremely helpful, kind, and informative. I could not have asked for a better response.”

“We had to have our tanks replace and moved. Dodge energy was great they came in and surveyed a safer spot. We needed to change the start day, they worked with us and start date was changed to the following week without any issues. They were here early in the morning like they said. The team worked all day and until the night they worked until 9 pm . The team worked very well together. They did not leave any trash behind, returned the earth to look as close to its natural state. Mind you they had to go down a hill thru the woods. We've had dodge energy to a few projects for us. They have came out to our residents when called no problem very knowledgeable and courteous. “These folks are THE BEST and I've never had anything but excellent service since I switched my propane account to them years ago from another local supplier (who was purchased by a big out-of-state energy company) who'd been robbing me blind. When last year's late-winter storms dropped a giant oak on the corner of my house that also housed my propane tank, they were out here in a flash to help me even though I'm sure they were up to their necks in calls that day. Their great service and assistance during this whole ordeal has been one of the few bright spots in what we've gone through here as a result of the disaster. Their drivers are personable and professional, the office staff is friendly and efficient, and we stop frequently at the gas station on Rt. 1 in Scarborough to fill up because they've always got a great price on gas as well. Fielding's is an outstanding local-owned, US-owned business I recommend highly.”
