“This is my local go-to mini mart when I need to buy some Monster energy juice(s). My boyfriend and I frequent this Cumberland Farms at least 3 times a week. We were very used to seeing the same group of women employees working there in the mornings. Then there was suddenly this male employee named Brian. He was so busy one morning, it was just customer after customer, and it was early morning. I just want to put it this way, we needed his help with something in the store, but it was hard to even speak to him with so many customers. We actually waited for the customers to stop coming in and when he was free for a moment, he helped us find what we needed. I thought that he was going to rudely write us off, but he didn't and he didn't want to do that. We could tell he must have felt overwhelmed by the amount of customer's at once, with no help, and that he was trying very hard to help everyone in line in a quick and orderly fashion. After that wave of people, I went to the counter and again asked him to help us locate a product, since there were no people in line at that point. I felt like I sounded rude almost, asking him to help us again. But, he did it and apologized profusely about us having to wait. I apologized to him, because I was definitely not trying to sound rude, but I was more adamant about needing his help this time. That is not easy for me, as i am a naturally kind individual. I learned that he didn't find me to sound rude, which really made me happy because I wouldn't want to come off like that. Anyway, he helped save the morning for my boyfriend and I and he was very kind and apologetic about it. He really doesn't have to be apologetic though, that is how customer service jobs are.
Fast-paced, waves of customer crowds, different people different attitudes, and he must've been very frazzled having to deal with so many of us in line. But, he did it well and he was kind when we got to speak to him after the rush of customers. He's just a person like you or me and all you have to do is imagine putting yourself into his position, and then think about how you would handle it. I think he did great! Give that guy a raise!!! “I stopped in the other morning to get gas, the pumps where not working. The guy working fixed the issue for me, the store was cleaner then I saw it 5 years ago. The guy behind the counter was very pleasant, the new manger was very nice as well. This place has changed for the better. I stop in every morning now.”

“This Walgreens is your typical pharmacy. I only had 2 times when this Westbrook location didn't have the meds I needed, until they put in the order and the meds come. If you're consistently taking medication, everyday, then you know you can't just go without. I desperately needed one of those meds, so I just asked my doctor to send my prescription to my usual Walgreens, on Forest Ave in Portland. Other than that, I haven't had any bad experiences there.”
