“I just wanted to say that I’ve never personally been to a Johnson’s Sporting Goods store, but a couple years ago I reached out over Facebook messenger to ask them to help out a friend who’s JSG hat was ruined, and it was a hat that they wore every single day(we also live in NY so driving to the store wasn’t super possible at the time) and Carrie Johnson immediately helped me out by finding the same hat, and next day shipping it for us. Thankfully I saw pictures of Xtreme Screen & Sportswear displaying beautiful sweatshirts honoring the team. Telephoned and ordered two that arrived quickly. The quality was totally amazing, had to call this morning and order the wife a Navy blue hoodie! Customer relations are truly second to none! Could the quality and customer relations have something to do with that building? As a young boy I purchased a lot of car parts from Stultz Auto Parts, they too were fantastic! “The best shoe store I've ever shopped in. Staff were pleasant, but Aaron went above and beyond, trying to get running shoes that would fit my wide feet. A great salesman and a super guy. Shopping there was 1 of the 2 or 3 highlights of my Maine vacation. Too bad South Portland wasn't closer to my home in Nova Scotia.”

“Best place by far to get the equipment needed for any type of sports. New or used everything I've gotten for my kids or I worked great. Also, really good customer service. My son had grabbed a bat that he wouldn't have been able to use in his league. They pointed it out and helped us get the right one. I recommend always going here first. ???”

Unfortunately I forgot his name, But the staff needs to be more customer friendly, they never welcomed you to the store ask if you find what you're looking for etc. I see the manager Sam making the effort. “We purchased 2 of these for our girls (black Lab puppies) last fall to protect them during the hunting season. They put a lot of miles on them out in the back 40, and except for them coming unbuckled once in awhile, we have had no issues with them. The girls accept them being put on, really get excited when we do, as that is a key that we are going for a woods walk, swim, etc. Even though hunting season is over, we still put them on. True, a black Lab stands out against the snow, but these blaze orange vests help us keep track of their whereabouts as they scout the frozen tundra. We love it when we can buy American, get good quality, and not send $ and jobs overseas.”
