“Lived in Monmouth about 8 years ago up the street from Reds on blue rock road. Loved this place. Everyone was awesome. Best steak and cheese in Maine. And you could get a real Italian sub here. Fried dough too.”
“I have had issues a few times in the past with employees not being honest... I am partial to how the store was when Jim and Vicki owned it. However we ordered food here last night as I was sick and could barley move to make my family dinner, the food in the past has not been stellar and we avoid it normally. The food last night was surprisingly really good. My Ham Italian was really good, in the past they have had one piece of ham and it was never enough. The pizza was good also. Usually the pizza is too undercooked for me, however it was cooked well this time. My boyfriend also said his sandwich was really good as well.”

“Apparently this place is open 24 hours a day and they have food. So if you are looking for something to eat in the middle of the night this is the closest thing to a all night diner or restaurant in the area.”
“I have lived in Monmouth for three years and I’ve always loved stopping by the kwick shop for gas or ordering food for dinner. Chuck Shannon and their whole team are always friendly and welcoming . I love that when they update the store or add new products, they ask their customers for input on how we like it or if there’s anything they need to change Chuck recently told me that although they are changing things up it is very important to he and Shannon that the store doesn’t lose the atmosphere of A small town country store . Out of the three stores in town. I always stop at the quick shop over the other two. Please stop in and help this local small business stay in Monmouth for many years to come.”

“Funny, friendly staff & good prices, food can be limited at times due to staffing but most of the time they're stocked up & churning business. Bathrooms always clean. Tobacco policies are a bit stricter than needed ex. carding all including grandparents, no returns upon leaving the store”
