It is obvious that the owner and her staff are animal lovers, from the greeting ( and treat) that my dog receives whenever we stop by AND when I have to carry her out because she does not want to leave. Grateful Pets has always taken great care of my cat and my house. I always come home to a clean house, trash taken out, mail brought in and cat station cleaned. The company leaves notes after every visit but I prefer a text which they do also with pictures! I also have had to call in last minute requests and it's never been an issue. I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!

Eye Care for Animals - Annapolis Defense Hwy
197 Defense Hwy Suite 101, AnnapolisI simply cannot say enough good things about this place - I had used them years ago for another cat with an eye issue and was already thrilled with the care, but that was a relatively minor issue. This time, I had a cat with a condition called Entropion (where the lids are sort of turned inwards and therefore the fur rubs against the cornea and irritates it all the time), which required surgery - always a very scary prospect!! When I brought him in for his initial consultation, BOTH doctors (Mr. and Mrs. Lisankis, a married couple) took time to assess him, take pictures, discuss best options amongst each other and with me - I was absolutely blown away!! I work at a vet hospital myself and knew both of them from a wonderful presentation, and I knew Rachel Lisankis from the previous cat and knew my cat would be in the best of hands with both of them. Also would like to mention Charity, the receptionist who was super helpful from the start, always very quick to reply to my questions and super sweet in person when I was there with my Mimmo - and the techs were all very nice and caring, too (sorry, don't recall their names). It is very stressful and scary to have to have a pet seen by a specialist, bc that usually means there is something more serious going on, so having such a great, caring team to take care of your loved one makes a HUGE difference!!! Empathy with both animals and humans is so important in Veterinary Medicine, I try to practice that when I work to the best of my ability also, and the team at Eye Care for Animals Defense Highway is absolutely TOP NOTCH!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks again to everyone <3

We called on our 1hr long drive over to make them aware we were bringing in my large dog who was having cluster seizures. They had us call when we parked & they immediately brought out the stretcher because he couldn’t walk. One vet tech quickly climbed in the back seat to help get him from the floor of our suv & on the stretcher. They kept me update atleast twice a day for the 3.5 days he was there. They also said I can call any time to check on him & they sent me a picture of him when I asked! We really appreciate all they do!

1901 Generals Hwy, AnnapolisI wanted EVERYONE to know that Dr. Anderson is the best. We love her so much. She does such an awesome job. She makes all our babies feel so safe when they arrive scared. She is brilliant. She knows so much and we feel so safe with her handling our most precious babies. Most of the time we ask for her, but we needed this baby seen asap, so we just took the appointment without knowing who was the vet. We were thrilled when she walked in to see our granddaughter (granddog). I'll post this on Facebook also.

Bay Ridge Animal Hospital
2244-48 Bay Ridge Ave, AnnapolisChanging long term veterinary is difficult until you align when services declined to the date they were puchased. Bay Ridge is the last Annapolis vet practice which services are NOT directly tied to a paycheck, bonus incentives, and employee retention. Vet practices have been gobbled up by hedge funds which has evolved pet rescue into being rebranded as owning a luxury item. After encountering poor service for my boy Hammer, I did a deep dive into vet ownership to find the root of the problem. My heart sank from what I learned. I was prepared that my two dogs were going to be my last rescues. Then I remembered Dr Rudd from decades ago that left Annapolis. She is the most knowledgeable, ethical, and effective listener I ever had the pleasure of meeting. I looked for her and studied the corporate make up of Bay Ridge and was pleased she had returned to Annapolis. My boy Hammer suffered for months as he was processed through corporate veterinary practices that up sale over listening. If your wait time is less than 15 minutes, your Vet maybe answering to the corporate metrics of average ticket price, clients processing time, weighing legal liability over compassion, which are all tied to employee reviews/pay/retention. Bay Ridge's excellent service demostrates they still have a voice in their practice. Hammer is glad that Dr. Rudd is back at Bay Ridge she is still the same highly skilled diagnostician, ethical, compassionate, and effective listener that I met decades ago.

Not only did they do amazing work with my golden retriever but when I needed to bring my older dog that hates the vet they worked with me to get him sedated and get all the work done he needed in one go. The only reason we stopped going was because I had to move for work and Dr. Hamilton and her staff are the only thing that I miss about the area.

Banfield Pet Hospital
2601 Housley Rd, AnnapolisMy Yorkie has been on the preferred care plan for almost 9 years now. Spreading out the cost for her care has been more manageable with the plan. The staff at reception are very helpful in making appointments especially if there is an emergency. I have seen all the veterinarians at this location and feel the quality of care is high. When my family has had to use their euthanasia service for our 3 elder cats dying of kidney failure, the doctors and staff are very kind and comforting.

I have a 14-year-old lab, and it's very hard for me to get home at a reasonable time in the evenings to feed him and take him out. It's made such a difference knowing that the dog walker will feed and walk my dog and give him some attention every afternoon so I don't have to stress about rushing home from work. They provide a daily log book too. My dog really IS a happy pet now that I use Happy-Pet!

Earlier this week my fiancé picked up Al pastor tacos and a birria quesadilla for us! A torrential downpour came out of nowhere and Jorge let him into the truck to take shelter! Talk about a kind heart. The food was great (the consome was too spicy for weenies like me though so beware if you’re sensitive to spice)! We had to come back again this week to support them for being so kind. Today we tried the huevos rancheros and now I feel like I could eat that every day. They were playing bachata and had some great looking horchata out front. They’ve got outdoor seating, music, corn hole, plants, and ordering kiosks! Even their to-go bags are really cute and well made. Overall, would most certainly come back here!!

601 Second St, AnnapolisHonestly one of my favorite places in Annapolis. Great spot for breakfast or lunch. Super friendly neighborhood vibes. It’s the ki d of place you can sit and chat for an hour and just drink coffee…before you go to soulless Starbucks, come give Leeward Market a try.
Close to the water so a nice little stroll around the docks as well.
Also a great place to get a few sammichs before you hit the water.
