“I am loving F45 in Fells! I joined 3 weeks ago because the location is convenient to my house and I knew it would be a good workout. The staff is unbelievable - all so friendly and encouraging. The workouts feel approachable but challenging. I leave every class happy that I went. I really enjoy the combination of getting your heart rate up and lifting weights. Definitely a great place to try for fitness beginners all the way to pros.”

“I plateaued at a HIIT style gym prior to Eden and thought I was in good shape.. this gym, however, will test you mentally and physically and I can say that I have never been in better shape thanks to the coaches and members that push you. I absolutely love going to classes throughout the week!”

“Love working with Rick! This gym is tucked away, but that just means it's a hidden gem!The trainers here listen to you, work with you on your goals and keep pushing you to them. I've been going for 3 months now, and really appreciate the hype I receive when I come in and their willingness to work with me through and around pre-existing injuries.”

“I have been a proud member of Baltimore Built Strength & Conditioning since 2018. The coaching staff is top-notch, providing excellent guidance and support every step of the way. Not only have I seen significant improvements in my fitness level, but I've also forged lifelong friendships in this welcoming and fun atmosphere. It's more than just a gym; it's a community that motivates and inspires each other to be the best version of ourselves. It's been over six incredible years, and it's been nothing short of life-changing. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to not only work out but to truly belong!”

“XPF is the best gym I’ve ever been to! Not just their workouts, but their friendly community has kept me coming back day after day. Each class is small enough to feel like you’re getting a personal training session and is a great balance between cardio and strength. The trainers are truly amazing and will correct your form and challenge you. This is the best I’ve ever looked or felt and I 10/10 recommend this gym to anyone regardless of their fitness journey!!”

“I work regularly with Ben Curtis. Coach Ben is a good listener. When my knees needed extra care, Coach Ben added physical therapy type exercises. When my hand needed extra attention, he was able to work with my limitations. He explores what I can accomplish in a work out but never pushes beyond my limits. He is especially good at checking form so I don’t hurt myself. I have been coming to the Baltimore Kettlebell Club for personal training since May 2023.”

“Let me tell you what I love about Bfit so you can decide whether it's the right fit for you today and not, say, 2+ years from when you first heard about them like me...1. They made it "easy" for me. I just show up.Ok, by no means am I saying the workouts themselves are easy... What I mean is, I know that all I have to do is roll out of bed, get in the car, open that door, and when I hear "what's up Hannah!", it's go time.I walk myself over to the floor, mirror some warm-up moves, look up at the projector for the day's Strength workout, and before I know it, class is over. At this point, I'm debating whether to stay for the Conditioning workout, but man, they've made it *so* easy that I've apparently already signed up for all of my classes for that week, so there's no backing out! (Technically, I can back out, but that doesn't sound as dramatic.)After just 30 minutes more, I'm toweling myself off, gulping water, and definitely not speaking full sentences because I'm still trying to catch my breath. But hey, I know I just got a full workout in in just over 1hr, and the day's just begun! I start everyday with an "easy" win at Bfit.2. They helped me gain strength, endurance and confidence.Prior to joining, I was bouncing around from a workout class here to a workout class there, maybe 2x/week, max. Cool, fun, but wasn't really seeing any progress. But, like, how could I have when I was only doing each type of workout 1x/week? That was pure lazy girl math.Fast forward to now, I'm at Bfit ~5x/week knowing that I'm getting intentional workouts in each and every time (the other days, find me still bouncing around the city taking the occasional spin and pilates class here and there!).The style of cyclic programming at Bfit gives me the opportunity to progress in each move while keeping things fresh. For Strength, there are 3 workouts; we cycle through "A" day, "B" day and "C" day. For Conditioning, there are 9 (I think). These all change up every 6 weeks. We track our progress on a community whiteboard, and it feels awesome to see how far I've come at the end of the 6 weeks. Those 6 weeks build strength with the progressive weight overload that's encouraged, endurance through conditioning, and confidence by way of lifting big a$$ plates and seeing big a$$ numbers on the board :)3. They're smart people. And good people, too. Also, dog.Their wealth of knowledge and experience shows in every class. For example, with their *knowledge* they demonstrate good form, advise on good form, and correct for good form. With their *experience* they demonstrate where people who are new to a particular movement go wrong with their form, give helpful cues to adjust towards better form, and strike a thoughtful balance of knowing how much to correct your form throughout the 6 weeks, giving the time and space to adjust the mind and muscle to new moves and not feel overwhelmed.Coaches and members alike are all good company. We push each other, we cheer each other on, we make each other laugh. It's a doggone good time.Ok, and dog. Dog is Lucy. Lucy is a polite girlie dog who unintentionally but graciously provides emergency when-will-this-be-over relief; her presence is all I need when I've gotten to the point where I'm counting down the seconds. Instead of "...squirrel!", it's "...Lucy dog!!!", and before I know it, a whole minute has passed. Lucy leaves you alone if you want her to, but she also leaves you alone even if you don't want her to. Find me in class and I will tell you the way to her sweet doggo heart :)”

“I was introduced to Orangetheory by Alia G. Alia deserves the recognition for speaking so highly of OTF and for encouraging me to try a class. After many attempts, I decide to give it a try. My very first class was at 5 am with coach Jo (she's awesome) and I loved it. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. At that moment I knew this is what I needed and where I belong. The staff and coaches are amazing. The coaches are so invested in your over all health and well-being. Just to name a few (coach Jo, Logan, Karli, Laura). The 5 am classes are my favorite! I've accomplished so much within my first year as an OTF member. Orangetheory has changed my life. I LOVE this place! I'm obsessed!”

“I have worked with Steve @ Bee More Boxing for just over a year. I started with his 'Fundamentals of Boxing' course. It was a great introduction to the art of boxing. I have lost nearly 50 lds and my boxing skills have skyrocketed. He is great at explain not just what to do, but why you do it. His fitness and boxing knowledge is vast. Even after a year, I am still excited when I start a new boxing session with Steve!”

“I've been coming to CityFit since I moved to Baltimore in 2017 and I love this gym. CityFit is a truly inclusive space that is welcoming and affirming to people at all different stages on their fitness journey. This is also a great gym if you want to try out a few classes here and there but aren't ready to commit to a membership as they offer drop-in classes and class packs, as well as very affordable small group training. I really can't say enough good things about this gym, it's really been a game changer in my life in terms of taking care of my health.”

“If you need a trainer, Brian Fitzsimmons is where it's at!! Turning 40 hit hard for me. I hated the amount of noise I made standing up and moving around. I visited the gym, toured with Chris (who is also amazing), and he recommended Brian to me.Brian's "smarter not harder" philosophy fit well with me. He pushed me to be strong and counseled me on what I need to do to reach my goals. A few months into training I heard an NPR report on how women are not strength training and it's importance. It was like listening to Brian, instilling further that he knows his stuff. Strength training is SO important, especially for women, and women getting older. You're not going to get "jacked", as I've heard many female friends comment on why they hesitate on this.If you want to be healthy, feel accomplished and strong (mentally and physically), talk to Brian.”

“The common spaces of this facility were really clean and in good condition. The only issue when I visited was that the women’s bathroom was dirty and out of soap. In the “Black Card” area (where massage chairs are) they had the overhead lights on which was weird so I opted to skip that amenity today.”
