“We worked with Design Builders to build a screened-in porch on the back of our house. We needed more livable space for our growing family. Ironically, we closed the deal and started the work shortly before the start of the pandemic. But they continued the work despite the craziness, and four years later, it's still one of our favorite places to be once spring comes. It's our beautiful, serene oasis in urban DC!While you could contract with a number of companies to do this kind of work, we loved working with Design Builders because they were highly specialized in delivering beautiful outdoor spaces. We also had a wonderful project manager, who was masterful in handling DC permitting challenges and nosy neighbors.”
