“I was met near the front door by a nice young man. I told him about my old la z boy chair breaking and that I wanted to see what was available and to see if my current chair was fixable and how to do this. He asked me lots of questions and we proceeded to 3 chairs. He showed me the model I currently own as well as 2 others. I didn't like the 1st one too much, but did like the 2nd. The model I currently own was about 500 dollars more, and had basically the same features as my broken chair. I picked a chair that was in stock so I am looking forward to delivery next week. Your salesman was excellent. He knew his product and was easy to work with. I am an older person with some mobility issues. I use the riding carts at most stores. When people offer to help me get things I cannot reach, I often tell them that I am an official awarder of GOLD STARS. Yor salesman earned a GOLD STAR from me for all his help. He is definately an asset to your company.”
“This was our first time at the Capitol Heights location and it was well worth the time. They have a nice selection of furniture, rugs, lamps, artwork etc. The customer service was excellent ! Jay and Team are super polite and professional, were not pushy nor hovered over us which allowed us to take our time to see all of the well put together show case. Another plus is that the prices are negotiable which was fare and a big factor . We purchase a sofa, rug, and artwork and delighted to return and browse/buy again. Stay tuned for updated review.”

“As part of our stone purchase for an outdoor kitchen project, I contacted the Capitol Heights location regarding inventory and pricing that had already been honored by other Floor & Decor stores.
My initial conversation was with Kirtley the manager, and unfortunately, it was not a positive experience at all. The manner in which the entire conversation was handled felt as though I was being given a difficult time. The discussion became unnecessarily frustrating and unproductive. By the end of the call, there was no resolution. I was given no other option... but to end the call. This is one of the locations that has the remaining stones that we need to purchase, in order to complete the kitchen project. I was furious.
The following morning, I decided to call back and speak with another manager. I was connected with Toney, and the experience could not have been more different. After listening to the situation, Toney was professional, courteous, and solution-oriented. Not only did he honor the same pricing that had been extended by the other locations, but he also offered to transfer the material to a more convenient store for pickup.
When we arrived, the team was friendly, professional, and worked together seamlessly to assist us. Mat/Simon were great. Their willingness to help completely turned the experience around.
Every organization occasionally encounters challenges, but what truly matters is how those challenges are addressed. Thanks to Toney and the Capitol Heights team, what started as a disappointing experience ended on a very positive note. We sincerely appreciate their professionalism and customer-focused approach.”

We came to this store on Saturday 3/14/26 mid afternoon, and everything was excellent. The store is very well organized and well kept. We were welcomed as soon as we walked in, which made a great first impression.
Every aisle was clean and easy to navigate, making shopping really enjoyable. The cashier who checked me out was friendly and nice, which added to the overall positive experience.

“I’ve bought mainly from their coffee sections, snacks, and bathroom decor. They have a good variety of items and I especially enjoy the coffee and browsing their clearance section. On a recent visit, I was particularly impressed by a store associate, Keisha, who showed such warm, refreshing, and personable customer service to multiple customers, including myself. At the register, Keisha and I ended up having a passionate discussion about Dubai Chocolate and next thing you know I’m leaving the store with Dubai chocolate! (by ForEva chocolate). And the chocolate was excellent. Moments like this is what makes shopping interesting and fun. Thanks Keisha! Parking is easy! Overall, I’d recommend!”
“Jovella, is SUCH a pleasure! Having worked in retail in my 20s I get how being short staff can greatly affect customer service, but her customer service never wavered! She literally helped me lift and place two HEAVY wood night stands/end tables on to the flatbed AND took them to the front register for me! “Retail store with Goodwill prices. Many name brand items at greatly discounted price. Look over everything very carefully, it might be dirty, stained, snagged, be sized incorrectly, or have a hole in it. Usually everything is ok. On my last visit I was able to buy a $74 pair of Nine West pants for just $7.”
“Their bathrooms are in a hallway in the fitting room area, no explicit signs.
But I found it fairly clean, high standards, probably takes care of it responsibly. Overall good quality store.”
“06/10/2025-Stopped by to look for a pair of shoes for everyday use. Mostly saw Crocs, flip flops, flats, sandals, sneakers, and heel to tall! Did not find anything eye catching or suitable for everyday comfort! But all in all, I love the store! I turned my eye on dresses ? and loved everything that I touched! Lovely selection of clothing( ladies). The staff is nice and professional. The lines were not long. Security was helpful and kind! I just like the atmosphere in the store! Calm and inviting! Had a great time browsing!”
