“I live in Barnesville, MD district and use the Barnesville Post Office for all of my mailing and stamp purchases and also have a Post Office Box there to receive my mail. This small community post office is wonderful. The postmistress is always courteous, responsible and reliable. She opens on time every day and keeps the post office neat and tidy. She always goes out of her way to help, even carrying packages to your car. We are very fortunate to have Honey Hynes as our postmistriss.”
“Was in and out quite quickly and the lady that helped us was very helpful with any questions we had. I noticed she took time helping customers in front of us without rushing them and educating about certain facets of postal shipping currently whether it be price or which countries had restrictions in place”

“I expected my order to be delivered. I waited over 2weeks for it. It was due to arrive today and I find out at 7pm, that it was returned to sender at 4pm. WTH Damascus. The money that one pays to live here, can we get our delivery on time? Can you attempt to call us or try to deliver it again before you make the independent decision to return to sender? Did it ever occur to you, that maybe....just maybe...you should try again? At least once. It's only the same address for the last 4years. I mean, hell you finally stopped sending other mail out but to heck with what we actually order.Update to 4stars: As of 27 February, all has been made right with me and for me. I understand personnel are new and for the lack of my understanding that was displayed. I apologize for all things. It could have been said better, considering the platform used. “Applied for a passport, and had an appointment around lunchtime when the facility wasn't very busy. The USPS employees were pleasant to deal with. Had to leave a positive review to balance out some of the negative ones. I think that sometimes negative reviews can paint a skewed overall impression of the usual experience, as people tend to not leave reviews unless something unusual happened (and "unusual" when it comes to post office stuff almost always means "bad".)”

“Everyone has a bad day, but this post office is awesome. I’ve come here almost weekly over the past 10 months. I’ve found the staff and management to be mannerly, efficient, and quick. “Just like the other reviewer said, I would go out of my way to this particular post office. It's at the edge of the agricultural reserve so it feels like a mini-vacation to get there. Staff is always friendly and the atmosphere is much more relaxed than the post office in my region. Highly recommend!”
