“I have never had a problem with this post office very friendly , helpful people but, my son sent me a card in May I never received & a package from Amazon was to be delivered 2 days ago from uses but I still haven't received it so I'm going to just cancel my order & go purchase the item at the store myself I cant wait any longer. I just dont understand my mailbox is within walking distance to the post office on Dicus Mill Rd yet we are always the last to receive our mail,we wait all day doesnt make sense.Still cant understand where my card went ?”

However most don't bother with compliments as good service is overlooked. Today, I needed a critical certified letter, late for delivery. The teller was very helpful and found my letter. So Iam happy to give the Ellamont post office some love ?”

It's a small post office- has a decent number of PO boxes but limited supplies of you need to package your goods on site.”

“Close this post office already, because whether they will be open the hours that are stated is anybody’s guess. This is the only post that I have ever been to, that is not open during their normal business hours. It’s nothing more frustrating than planning your day that includes a trip to this post office and it is closed, especially if you rely on mobility bus services for transportation. If you call customer service for their hours of operation they will tell you that they should be open. A kiosk would be better than this, there’s never a sign posted explaining the situation. Why do this happens only at this post office? I understand that some situations can’t be avoided, but this is a continuous problem.Update: They have definitely improved on being opened at the times that are posted, which makes things a lot better. The customer service has always been good, employees are pleasant and helpful. I just hope that they continue being opened during their business hours.”

“I have had mainly good experiences at this post office . My mail gets to its destination amazingly fast (especially considering that this is not Baltimore’s main post office) and the wait time for service is usually a short one.And the most pleasant and personable postal clerk works at this branch. Good customer service is spelled K-E-N-D-R-A. She is patient, communicates clearly and makes me feel appreciated as a customer. She bumps this four star branch to five stars for me.”
“Understaffed the post offices are but highly appreciate it. Getting a lot of things done changes of address city and packages you can even get money orders there too. I do give a lot of credit and thanks for they put up with a lot of crap daily aiming to make sure you get what you need delivered and received. Their functions are highly benefited for our life. ?”
“I went to this office to get my daughter's passport. I was helped by a man with bushy hair (I think he is between 45 and 55 years old), he was very kind to me and my daughter who had special needs. “I had a the pleasure of working with Maria. Prior to me, a male customer was extremely rude and attempted to pick a fight many times. So much so, that another customer had to tell him to leave her alone. She was professional, courteous, and patient the entire exchange with this customer, and had to repeat steps many times, that he could take. “Unlike others who reviewed this post office, I haven't had any problems with the clerks at the counter. This place resembles your standard post 📫 office (see picture). It has various mailboxes 📬 for rent (see picture 📸). They sell various shipping supplies (boxes, tape) in the main lobby as well as gift 🎁 cards (see picture 📸). 1 thing I do appreciate here is the outside mail dropbox (see picture) that you can drive 🚗 up to and mail your stamped letters ✉. No need to get out of the car to mail them. Overall, I think it's an ok 👍 post office though 🤔 I don't deal with them much as I don't live on Fort Meade.”

“I came from the Post Office on Camp Meade Rd after a very frustrating experience earlier the same day. The other location was dirty, disorganized, and the employee at the counter refused to properly enter or verify the full address for my package — an address I ship to frequently with no issues anywhere else. Instead of troubleshooting, he insisted the address “wasn’t in the system” and processed my refund as a money order instead of returning it to my card. The entire interaction was unprofessional and unnecessarily difficult.
The Brooklyn/Curtis Bay location was the complete opposite.
As soon as I arrived, the staff member took the time to enter the entire address correctly, verified the details with me, and immediately found what the other location claimed didn’t exist. He was patient, respectful, and clearly knew what he was doing. The package was processed quickly and without a single issue.
The difference between the two branches was night and day. Brooklyn/Curtis Bay turned a stressful situation into a smooth, positive one, and their professionalism deserves recognition.
If you are interested the area, just drive a little further and use this branch from now on. It will save you the headache.”
