βWent in today to purchase a few items, I needed clarity about a special and the store manager Mr. Stepheon Ballard helped with kindness, I'd also like to mention Mr. Antwan Milling for his assistance as well. In a time where customer service isn't always given graciously, I really appreciated Mr. Ballard's willingness to help without irritation or hesitation. Thank you?β
βWe come here at least twice a week and absolutely love it! The store is always clean, well-stocked, and the staff are super friendly. One of our favorite things is the cafΓ© areaβit has great coffee, plenty of space to sit, and you can bring your laptop to get some work done or just relax. Itβs such a nice vibe, and we really enjoy the whole Wegmans experience. Feels more like a little community spot than just a grocery store. Love this place!β
βI love this Aldi! It's always clean, usually well organized, and if I can't find something, I know the staff will answer any questions. I love that they always have cute seasonal items and great deals on name brand items occasionally.β

shocked because its so big I thought they would have everything every other one would have.β
βThe food and service we received was great. I had the short ribs with mashed potatoes and carrots. I am not a fan of carrots but these were very tasty especially in the sauce that they put on the plate for the short ribs. The mashed potatoes were OK. The short ribs were perfectly cooked and very tender. My husband had an a chicken taco, pork taco , and cream of crab soup . The chicken taco was amazing and he loved the pork taco. I would definitely order the cream of crab soup again . Our waitress was an attentive and nice. It's always good to meet a fellow special education teacher. We will definitely be back to try something different.β
βOriginally went to Verizon to pay my parent's monthly telephone bill. There was no electric in the Verizon store so the electronic registers, computers, & kiosk devices would not work. Had to pay telephone bill thru snail mail. Then I went across street to do some shopping in the Weis Grocery Store. Isn't this a nice story?β

βThis new Giant offers a variety of foods from various countries. I have found that the staff are approachable and extremely helpful. They will go out of their way to help locate whatever you need. The meats and veggies are always fresh.β
βI love this grocery store-- I save at least a third on my grocery bill! They are missing a few things that I still need to go to other stores for (extra creamy oat milk & wild caught shrimp). The only thing I wish was a little different was how, when you're checking out, the cash register person seems to throw the items into the cart with little discretion to what might get crushed or bruised. They usually seem too focused on how fast they can clear the belt.
Well, yesterday I had the best experience ever with Joanne! She was so careful, and thoughtful, and deliberate with my items. I was floored! I've been going to all kinds of different locations, for well over ten years, and never had such a pleasant experience checking out. She stands out above the rest!β

βUsually I stop by on my way home right around closing time and their shelves are nearly empty, but this time I got there and everything was very nicely stocked! I needed help finding something too and a worker came right over and helped me.β
βBeen going to Gray brothers for several years for odds and ends. I went in one day to get some baloney. When I opened it when I got home, the only place that baloney belongs is, in the trash. Several green spots and the baloney was "slimey" to the touch. I dumped it, not taking any chances with food poisoning. It didn't smell bad, but I wasn't taking any chances.β
βReally Great store I give it a 10/10, great prices and you have a variable of foods available. Staff is really friendly and ready to help out. Really recommend this place.β
βI like this grocery store! Prices and savings are excellent! I had a long shopping list that included ingredients for several recipes at my last visit and had a hard time finding everything (not too many floating employees on a Sunday), but I did manage to find everything on my list! Iβm finally getting the hang of the app, self checkout and remembering to bring in my bags (not yet a habit since Iβve lived 7+ decades without needing to remember to carry in bags)!β
βSusan the check out clerk and Kimberly the manager are truly jewels you should cherish. Their customer service is why we left Safeway. One request, can you teach someone how to put the toilet paper in the holders? It is disgusting to have the roll sitting on the floor or hand rail that someone has had their dirty hands all over. βGrocery pick up is awesome! Prices are significantly cheaper than other grocery stores and their rewards program is great. I wouldn't necessarily shop there for fresh fruits and vegetables, but everything else is on point. The area around the store isn't the most upscale, but the prices and customer service make up for it!β
βI've been going since they opened, and I have never had a bad experience. In fact, every experience that was going sour was rapidly resolved by incredible staff. The layout has changed a few times, always to the betterment of the store.β

βI really like this store! Itβs clean, organized, and convenient. Most of the time when I shop here, itβs not crowded, and checking out is quick and easy. For budget-conscious shoppers, prices can sometimes feel a bit high, but their sales and $10-off coupons make a big difference. As long as they keep offering good deals, Iβll keep getting my groceries here.
I especially love their store-brand items β the cheeses, cereals, baked goods, pizzas, drinks, and cinnamon rolls are all great quality and well-priced. Lately, Iβve also been picking up ice cream and treats for my kids, like their donuts that used to be around $1β2. However, this past month I noticed the price for my daughterβs favorite donuts jumped from about $1.80 to $4.80, which was surprising β so just something to keep in mind. Not sure whoβs in charge of that, but I hope the prices level out again!β
βI'm a long-time local and patron of this store. The staff is always cheerful and extremely helpful. I've asked them to stock a particular wine for me and they always have it ready to go with a cold one in the case. Their range of beers and wines consistently satisfy my own particular needs and I can't emphasize enough how pleasant it is to deal with folks who know how to deliver great service along with a smile. I look forward to doing business here for many years to come!β
βI love shopping at Aldi. You never know what you're going to find. Shopping at Aldi is a mental outlet. I like to go into the home section so I can find some great deals. I did absolutely that and purchased some serving platters. We're having seafood nachos and tacos for dinner tomorrow. They will work out just fine!#happyshoppingβ

TL:DR - Hiring process is crap and annoying to deal with, Hispanic section is good, and their donuts are AMAZING.
Come here AT LEAST for the donuts, fr worth it.
8 of my friends (9 including me) never got any kind of response when we applied to work here, plus the managers always seemed to mysteriously unavailable to be spoken to.
I've literally called the store, got told to call back the next morning, called the next morning, "Manager on vacation" :/
when will they be back? " X date." Thanks so much.
Called back on X date, "She'll be here tomorrow morning" thanks.
Calls back tomorrow morning, "Hi, not here. Call again tomorrow morning."
At which point I came INTO THE STORE to speak with this elusive hiring manager, just to be told that they were on vacation and won't be back for a while.

So suffice to say, hiring process seems messy, outdated, unreliable, and flat out non-functional at times.
The website needs to be updated, the employees need proper customer service training because regardless of what I'm calling about, and who's answering, it's always in a tone that sounds like I might aswell be interrupting a neurosurgeon mid incision.
The only redeeming quality of this store is what it sells, and I'm not talking standard groceries.
Not only does Shoppers have a decent spread of hispanic foods, ingredients, drinks & snacks, but it's also got some of, if not THE BEST donuts you could buy from a store.
The donut chains like Dunkin or Krispy Kreme got nothing on SFW donuts, they got Croissant donuts (Cronuts), marble iced, Holland Creme (my favorite), jam filled, lemon pudding filled, boston creme, and of course all your standard donut types like powdered, brown sugar, plain and glazed, not to even mention some specialty ones they have on occasion like the apple pie filled brown sugar, or marbled icing cronuts.
Plus they're reasonably priced, which automatically raises the rating for me.

βVery small, only two and a half isles. Good selection of spices but I didn't see any fresh produce. Cashier was friendly. Was able to find spices much fresher and cheaper than American grocery stores.β

βI come from Suitland, Md to shop here at this Walmart in LaPlata, MD. This store is well worth the ride! I can always find what I need/want and the prices are affordable. The associates are polite and offer their help without you having to look for them. The store is overall the best Walmart I been in yet.β
βMy husband was diagnosed with brain cancer while I was pregnant- needless to say itβs been a rough time for us, especially when the baby arrived. Giant pick up has been awesome and helped relieve some stress. Weβve been using it for about a year now. Everyone is nice and food is always fresh. If they happen to be out of stock, the staff always let me know and offer to substitute with something else.β
βThis store has been around for years and the last owner and current owner are Fantastic. If you want great customer service and treated with respect then this is the place. Jennifer has been working there awhile with the Lee's and now the current owner and she is absolutely wonderful.β
βNew store. Produce look good and shelves are well stocked. They pay attention to expiration dates and rotate old stock out. Parking is difficult to navigate (narrow spaces and narrow lanes). It seems to be designed for all compact cars. And there are a few handicap spaces.β
βI stepped in for a dump ticket. The woman was very friendly and helpful. I don't go thru that area enough so it's only the second time I've been there and the first time the person was very kind and friendly too.β
βGreat fresh seafood and seems like the best deal on oysters in the area. A very good choice of produce at friendly prices. That said, stay away from frozen meats and frozen seafood.β
βWalmart on Richmond Highway near Cost offers a wide variety of products for home, office, kitchen, gym, and kids. While they do not consistently stock fresh fruit, their staff is exceptionally helpful and the store is very clean. They provide a great range of items for different needs, making it a convenient choice for shopping across various categories.β
βThe owner of the store never is consistent with there store hours of operation. They open and close there Mart whenever they see fit and they don't care about inconviencing there customers whatsoever!!!β
