“I needed to find a storage unit on very short notice after unexpectedly being gifted some electronic equipment that I simply couldn’t turn down. I rented a U-Haul, picked up the equipment, and only then realized I had no plan for where to store it. After spending hours loading and transporting everything, I began searching for storage facilities and came across CubeSmart shortly after midnight. To my surprise, I was able to reserve a climate-controlled unit online, complete the paperwork electronically, set up my account, and have access to my unit by 6:00 a.m. The entire online rental process was quick, simple, and hassle-free. When I arrived that morning, the facility was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. I’m a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend CubeSmart to anyone looking for a clean, secure, climate-controlled storage facility.”

“When I visited to inquire about rental storage units for items in my garage, Singh was incredibly friendly and helpful. He was so patient and answered all of my 101 questions! ? He even showed me the stairs leading to an upstairs unit since I was worried about climbing too many stairs. In the end, I ended up renting a different unit from the facility, but I really appreciated Singh's assistance! If you're looking for storage and don’t require climate control, definitely check them out! ?✨”

“6/24 Ryan was super helpful in reaching out to me to resolve the issue in the rent spike, while he said that its Self Storage Plus's business model to raise rates, he worked out a reduced rate that I was willing to accept. I'm hopeful this is the last increase. 6/23 The unit has been perfect for the last few months however.. After less than 6 months I received a notice my rate was going from 146 to over 200 a month. I would be cautious renting from a place that raises rates.”

“I had two units here for years. They have cameras posted on the whole property which is nice. When I was looking, this place locally had the best prices in the whole area. I haven’t priced that in months, but I assume they keep their rates relatively low. 24/7 access. They communicate very effectively to keep you from getting locked out of your unit. Never any issues.”

“5 stars across the board in terms of service, value, and quality. Whether I call or visit in person, the service is incredible! I haven’t been able to find a better value for storage in Charles County with the same level of service, security, and pricing. I love that it’s simple, no gimmicks, and easy pricing. I also live out of the country, so knowing that my items are safe and I can always reach someone when I call gives me peace of mind. I’d recommend them and I hope they stay in business for many, many, many, many more years.”

“We have kept our travel trailer at Gateway Storage Center in Lorton for 3 years without incident. It is an easy place to get to, via the I-95 or, if coming from Alexandria, via the scenic route along the George Washington Parkway. The facilities are basic but secure. A video camera at the gate records all incoming and outgoing licence plates, and a card or fob is needed to open the full-height gate. Not only private RV and car owners but also business vans and large trucks use the facility (in separate areas). "Basic facilities" means johnny-on-the-spot toilets but they are kept clean and supplied with toilet paper. Unfortunately, it also means no water source. We visited a number of other facilities in the greater D.C., area before deciding this one was the best choice.”

“I had an outstanding experience at this storage facility, and a huge part of that was because of the manager. From the moment I walked in, she was professional, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. She took the time to answer all my questions, explained everything clearly, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. The facility itself was clean, secure, and very well maintained, which reflects the level of care and attention she puts into the property. What really stood out was her customer service — responsive, respectful, and willing to go above and beyond to help. It’s rare these days to find someone who truly cares about her customers’ experience. I would absolutely recommend this storage facility to anyone looking for a safe, reliable place with exceptional management. Thank you again for making everything so easy and professional!”
