“This is the best Post Office in the area. Ms. Arlene Harper is outstanding. Her customer service shines! She is thorough and efficient. Her dedication to her customers and her job shows!”
“Deserving of the high ratings - I chose this location to mail wedding invitations from due to the high ratings. I purchased non machinable stamps, which cost more, and somehow left the office with 60 though I purchased 80. When I came back the next morning, they had the last sheet of stamps waiting for me without hassle. Thanks to the friendly clerk who called her post master to confirm rather than just sending me away. Really appreciated the quality customer service.”
“Today, Kim helped me send an international care package. She was super helpful, creative, and knowledgeable. Shipping internationally can be a daunting process. She made it easy and time efficient!”
“Hands down best post office I’ve been to. The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable, they definitely make you feel welcome & they make sure you don’t spend too much time in line as they get to everyone as quickly as possible. There are other post offices that are closer to me however, I prefer to drive drive an additional 15 minutes because you just don’t get the type of quality service elsewhere. Hats off to the the staff here.”
“The absolute most wonderful post office experience I've ever had! She's so incredibly kind and cheerful and I will now drive out of my way to come here instead of going to my local post office down the street.”
“I had an appointment for my passport and EVERYONE HERE WAS LOVELY AND HELPFUL AND PATIENT. I WOULD COME HERE AGAIN! I’ve been to other post offices around the area they are disrespectful and inpatient. Here if you had questions they answered them and helped.”

“I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Kay for her incredible patience and kindness. Being new to a specific mail procedure, I arrived at the office with a stack of envelopes and a lot of questions. Kay took the time to guide me step-by-step, ensuring I understood how to fill them out correctly. Her pleasant demeanor, great conversational skills, and willingness to go above and beyond truly made my experience exceptional. I couldn't have asked for a better person to assist me—thank you, Kay!”
“Went here this morning and the man who helped me was very nice and patient while I was asking all of my questions. Will definitely be using this post office again!”

“I am a regular customer here and all of the employees are pleasant and very helpful when I need anything. Ms Jenny is #1 and it’s always a pleasure to see and do business with her! ?”
“I had an incredible experience with this post office last weekend that I want to share. I had called the customer line because a package's tracking information had been marked as delivered the day before, but they the status reverted to distribution center that morning. I was told that it is a system issue that packages get marked as delivered and the current status was correct, but she was unable to tell me why it was sitting at the distribution center (Takoma Park post office) and not out for delivery, so she put in a claim ticket. About 15 minutes later I got a call on my cell phone and it was the supervisor at that location, Ms. Foxx, asking if I had received my package. I told her that I had not and then she had Ms. Lee check in the packages on site and they located my package. This was 4:45 p.m. on a Saturday, so it was apparent it wasn't being delivered that day and it was a gift for father's day the next day. I asked if I could pick it up and was told that I could, if I got there in the next 15 minutes before they locked the back loading door and left. I made it and they both helped me load the large, heavy box into my car and absolutely made my day/week/year. The company that I purchased the gift from through Amazon had decided to ship via the slowest and cheapest means, so I couldn't blame the postal service for the package having not arrived, but the level of customer service to call me directly and then help find a solution was beyond my wildest expectations. Please do give the overworked staff at this location a break when you are frustrated with the long lines, as my experience there has been that they are always professional and do their job very well, even when they don't have a second to catch their breath in between customers.”
“The people working at this post office are extremely friendly and helpful. Convenient location and ample parking. Really enjoy using this post office and interacting with the folks who work here.”
“I can’t speak for other people, but my first time coming to this Post Office was a very very positive experience. The two workers were very friendly. My experience with most Post Office is that the workers are usually dismissive and or highly negative good experience here and wasn’t crowded.”
“Haven't been to this location in quiet some time. The atmosphere and staff was horrible. It was all new staff in there today. They were all pleasant, cheerful and helpful! Was a nice change! Hope they stick around!”
“Margo was a great assistance. I really appreciate everyone at the College Park office from those in the store to the postal carriers! They live up to the slogan "whether rain, sleet, or snow" they're always there!”
“The best postal service. The lady who provided me service was gracious, deliberate and professional. It can be tough serving the general public; however, I have come to respect and appreciate her efforts over the years.”
“Great customer service by Beverly and Jasdeep. The place was filled, but they ensure to apologize for the delay and try to move as fast as they can to get to the next customer. The place is obviously understaffed, but that is expected at most government organizations these days. 5 stars is for the excellent customer service. Hopefully they fix the staffing issue in the near future.”
“Over worked, hard working staff. A gentleman with dreds and glasses went out of his way to look up my tracking number, when his shift was over and they clearly were swamped.”
“Marsha is amazing!! Super friendly and efficient. An incredible asset to USPS. I come here frequently around 10-12 most days to drop off items for our business and never have an issue”
“I went this postal office yesterday twice.
With the reason of not receiving of forwarded mail. The clerk here explained clearly and easily of their policy changed. That the change of address have to be confirmed with drivers license with a clerk evenif I had sent the change of address request form through the App.
Second time she explained that certified mail is also categorised as first class mail, so, if I want to be sure to be delivered I'd better send it through certified mail.
She was kind and easy to understand for me.
This post office used be somewhat notorios of unkind and strange, so, I used to avoid this place. However, from last year, it seems like this place is changing to be better.
The clerk who helped me yesterday was Kang Park, if I remember her name correctly.”
“Dropped off our wedding invitations here and had a good experience. The postal worker confirmed we had the right stamps and got them mailed quickly, even after dealing with a difficult customer right before us. Appreciated their professionalism and help!”
“I went Saturday morning. There was a long line. Sharon was apologetic for the long wait and was very friendly. Her energy was radiant and calming. Phenomenal service. People like her make the world a better place.”
“Kind service. I went back right after dropping off some paperwork to mail because I forgot to sign off one one of them. The lady was kind enough to go back and grab it for me.”
“I walked into the post office here at Dobbin and I was met with three lovely ladies and it was Toni K and Shawnee. Oh my goodness I didn’t know where to go and they said well. Come on up here we’ll help you out and I said oh well thank you because I didn’t know where to go and it’s just been laughing and Service the whole time. I’m in here and I’ve been in here about maybe about three minutes now and he scanned my work get me through And so when I have to go back to the post office I’m gonna choose Columbia post office. My name is Deanna.”
“The Burtonsville Office processes passport applications and rush them to the Passport Office.
There is an array of packing materials for sale, which include bubble wrap, clear tape, decorative padded envelopes, priority tape and boxes, and plain boxes and envelopes. I like the clear tape the best. The brown tape didn't stay in place very long.
I enjoy looking at their book of forever stamps. The staff are friendly and attend to customers' needs.”
