“(Dec 7)ANOTHER UPDATE! Went in again for a slight leak they discovered coming from my oil pan. Left the vehicle with them under the permission to change the entire pan. They discovered the issue was fixable and did that for me! Kept everything above board and let me know that it didn’t need replaced and that they fixed it, saving me HUNDREDS of dollars. Will continue to not only go here but encourage all others to trust them with their business. UPDATE!! I went back after saving up some money and had Andrew assist me this time with all my repairs I opted for. They have a very straight forward pricing system with your consent and questions being held at the upmost importance. I got a power steering pump replaced along with my starter. There are other things to get done with my car I just have to save up more money. Will be coming here for ALL future repairs and recommend anyone to come here. Went in with questions and issues, was scheduled to do a diagnostic. Hearing the concerns I had Mark was a genuine human and suggested a specialist because that was the direction of the issues (transmission). Great guy great ethics would come back 10/10 times.”
“We LOVE J&H! Honestly, I wish we had found them sooner…
After our former “weekend-warrior” chain service center closed, we asked a transmission shop (who was currently servicing one of our vehicles) about an honest, reasonable, and competent mechanic -- they referred us to J&H. From the first visit, I was thoroughly impressed. From the owner to the mechanics to the office staff, everyone is patient, helpful, knowledgeable, and honest (which is a VERY rare trait in society these days).
Unless they’re crazy swamped, they provide a digital/electronic car condition report at each service inclusive of pictures. Yes, you heard that right – so not only do they tell you what needs done, but this shows you... giving you an added level of assurance. They proactively monitor various aspects of your vehicle as well as tending to the items you’ve requested them repair/replace. Additionally, when they’ve made service recommendations, they’ve been honest about whether it’s something that needs done now, sooner than later, or if it’s something that can safely wait to be addressed at another time if you’re like us and trying to budget for car maintenance. If you’re uncertain how something impacts your vehicle, they’ll patiently explain what you need done and why it’s important.
We’ve been customers of J&H for several years now, trusting them with multiple cars of ours that we rely on heavily to commute to work, chauffeur our kids and their friends to/from school and events, and to trek long distances for vacation/family. I value their work and their perspective to the extent that I take any new vehicle in our household to them to inspect and I ensure before any long road trips that we get our vehicle into them for service to ensure a smooth, uneventful trek.

“I can’t recommend Mora Tires enough. I needed new tires badly and kept putting it off because the process became overwhelming.
I called Mora Tires on a whim and they made everything so easy. From the first call to him going out of his way to wash his hands before handing me my key when they were finished, the customer service was wonderful. I called at 11 a.m. and had new tires on my car by 2:30; zero hassle.
I left thinking about how refreshing it was to have such a great experience getting my car serviced. Also, the price was great (win-win).
The location’s perfect, too. There are so many great food options down Eastern Ave., or you can grab a coffee or post up to work at OvenBird a few blocks away.

“The day before Thanksgiving I came to Carney Tire with a damaged tire hoping to get it replaced before my holiday travel plans the next day. Paul, a service associate explained that they were busy but if I left the tire with them they would do their best to make the repair by closing. I received a call around 4:30 advising that the repair was complete, they installed the tire and I was pleased to continue my travel plans on four good tires and the spare in the trunk. I’m grateful to Paul and his staff for making my minor repair a priority during a busy holiday eve.

“I took my 2017 Hyundai Tucson to these professional and kind people. I had a break light that went out and my husband said while he gets the food I should find an auto repair shop, I choose Framerite the customer service was extremely wonderful.
The waiting area was so cool it was like stepping into a man cave that us women would love to at least I know that I enjoyed it.
They fixed my car with no problem and gave me a loaner car while we waited for the end result.

That is, fitting in the repair immediately into their workload. I purchased the BMW 335i from them in 2016 and they continue to be my sole source repair shop. “UPDATE: I had initially written a bad review for Brooks-Huff In Towson off York Rd. for damaging the finish on my wheels when I came in for a balancing service. I was very disappointed and upset with my impression of this business. Tim rang me a call over my cellphone earlier and I had missed his call, he left me a nice voicemail stating that he is very sorry about this incident and that he had read the review. He ensured that he would take care of this issue and this is not an accurate representation on how their business operates.Tim explained that he will be gone for the week but to call back the following week to schedule something for them to take care of the issue. I am very appreciative for them owning up and offering to fix the damage they have done, especially because not a lot of businesses would do the same in our day and age. Brooks-Huff Tire & Auto Center in Towson is now a stand out to me and I am very pleased that they offered to fix the damage. My recommendation has changed and so has my outlook on this business just for offering to make things right. I'm the kind of person who drives my cars forever, so having a trusted mechanic is everything to me. “A good, honest auto mechanic is hard to find. ? I made an appointment to get my Maryland State inspection. I told the gentleman I might need front brakes. He said they only do brakes the right way and told me what it would cost, but also said I probably didn't need brakes. I don't know what he did, but my front suspension is tightened up and I didn't have to pay for a brake job because I didn't need brakes.

“These guys are great. I had squeaky brakes and another shop quoted me at $1100 because they said I needed new brakes, rotors, calipers, piston press etc… I took my car here and they said the brakes were fine they just needed some lubricant and minor adjustments. Haven’t heard any squeaking since and saved around $1000. This shop’s honesty is refreshing in a world where everyone is just trying to squeeze every penny they can out of you. Highly recommend.”
