“I can’t recommend Mora Tires enough. I needed new tires badly and kept putting it off because the process became overwhelming.
I called Mora Tires on a whim and they made everything so easy. From the first call to him going out of his way to wash his hands before handing me my key when they were finished, the customer service was wonderful. I called at 11 a.m. and had new tires on my car by 2:30; zero hassle.
I left thinking about how refreshing it was to have such a great experience getting my car serviced. Also, the price was great (win-win).
The location’s perfect, too. There are so many great food options down Eastern Ave., or you can grab a coffee or post up to work at OvenBird a few blocks away.

“(Dec 7)ANOTHER UPDATE! Went in again for a slight leak they discovered coming from my oil pan. Left the vehicle with them under the permission to change the entire pan. They discovered the issue was fixable and did that for me! Kept everything above board and let me know that it didn’t need replaced and that they fixed it, saving me HUNDREDS of dollars. Will continue to not only go here but encourage all others to trust them with their business. UPDATE!! I went back after saving up some money and had Andrew assist me this time with all my repairs I opted for. They have a very straight forward pricing system with your consent and questions being held at the upmost importance. I got a power steering pump replaced along with my starter. There are other things to get done with my car I just have to save up more money. Will be coming here for ALL future repairs and recommend anyone to come here. Went in with questions and issues, was scheduled to do a diagnostic. Hearing the concerns I had Mark was a genuine human and suggested a specialist because that was the direction of the issues (transmission). Great guy great ethics would come back 10/10 times.”

After our former “weekend-warrior” chain service center closed, we asked a transmission shop (who was currently servicing one of our vehicles) about an honest, reasonable, and competent mechanic -- they referred us to J&H. From the first visit, I was thoroughly impressed. From the owner to the mechanics to the office staff, everyone is patient, helpful, knowledgeable, and honest (which is a VERY rare trait in society these days).
Unless they’re crazy swamped, they provide a digital/electronic car condition report at each service inclusive of pictures. Yes, you heard that right – so not only do they tell you what needs done, but this shows you... giving you an added level of assurance. They proactively monitor various aspects of your vehicle as well as tending to the items you’ve requested them repair/replace. Additionally, when they’ve made service recommendations, they’ve been honest about whether it’s something that needs done now, sooner than later, or if it’s something that can safely wait to be addressed at another time if you’re like us and trying to budget for car maintenance. If you’re uncertain how something impacts your vehicle, they’ll patiently explain what you need done and why it’s important.
We’ve been customers of J&H for several years now, trusting them with multiple cars of ours that we rely on heavily to commute to work, chauffeur our kids and their friends to/from school and events, and to trek long distances for vacation/family. “So! I was recommended by a friend to go here and want to recommend to everyone that my experience was as advertised! They don't take appointments, so arrive just before or at 8am when they open for the opportunity of same day service. If not, the later you arrive the better chance it won't be ready until the next business day.
I was quoted at Goodyear for an exhaust leak $1400, as they said the whole thing needed to be replaced. Well, my friend heard that and laughed and pointed me here. They gave me a quick estimate after looking under the vehicle and it was $220! I was blown away. I left the vehicle and three hours later I'm being called to be advised it's ready. When I arrived, no change in price, honesty and great work. They welded my faulty section of the muffler and I was back ob the road with a car that went from sounding like an 18 wheel dump truck to an electric vehicle, which it is not.
My only regret was delaying the repair thinking it would be at least 50% of what the previous shop quoted. These guys handle their biz, to which they'll have mine for the foreseeable future.”

“The day before Thanksgiving I came to Carney Tire with a damaged tire hoping to get it replaced before my holiday travel plans the next day. Paul, a service associate explained that they were busy but if I left the tire with them they would do their best to make the repair by closing. I received a call around 4:30 advising that the repair was complete, they installed the tire and I was pleased to continue my travel plans on four good tires and the spare in the trunk.
