Springtime Supplements
10942 Beaver Dam Rd # J, CockeysvilleOver the past 30 plus years, I have tried joint supplements on my Dobermans with no luck. I was told to try Springtime Joint health chewables and, within ONE week, my 5 year old boy stopped limping for the first time in over 6 months! AND, my 8 year old girl was running around like a puppy! Today, I actually ordered the human version for myself! Amazing product! Thank you!

Hunt Valley Animal Hospital
11206 York Rd, CockeysvilleI couldn't be happier after my first visit! The facility is lovely, neat and clean, with plenty of sectioned off spots in the waiting area if you have a shy pet. Jenn and Dr. Gore were so friendly and helpful during my cat's visit. They immediately put me at ease and we had many good laughs with my cat's antics! Dr. Gore provided numerous opportunities for me to ask questions during and after her thorough exam. I highly recommend this practice!

Pet Sitting & Training

Sit Means Sit Dog Training Towson
10912 York Rd #200, CockeysvilleThere is so much I could say here, but what it really comes down to is the fact that Sit Means Sit saved our puppy from being rehomed or worse. We rescued a pit bull puppy, a black one at that, who showcases some fairly severe issues such as extreme biting behavior (in short... aggressiveness). We are very experienced dog owners and had both a rescued pit bull and a rescued chihuahua until they passed of old age, and we've also fostered a variety of different breeds with a variety of different behavioral issues. However, after trying every technique we've ever known, we realized that it just wasn't enough to help this pup. We met with SMS and I have to admit that we were a little iffy on the collar. I had never used or needed one before, but they were literally our last hope before we had to remove or make a serious decision about this pup. It's an investment but they were literally our last hope. That last hope turned in to our saving grace. Kooper responds very well to the collar and its helped him to understand what is expected of him when we give commands. It helps give him focus, and after the first day we really did notice some immediate improvement, which was not at all expected. Their training... this isnt a place they just keep your pup in a kennel all day. They work with them throughout the day, and then they work with you. Yes, you read that right. Their training isnt just about getting a dog to listen, its a also about learning how to communicate effectively with your dog and understand them just as you want them to understand you. I could really write a novel here on all of the ways, big and small, that SMS has helped our pup and us but Im sure Google would think it was written by a novelist. Listen, if you love your dog and you are serious about their training, go see them at SMS. It's an investment, but it works. It saves lives (human and doggo!!). I could show you the bite mark photos as proof. They helped with that, and now we can enjoy our pup and he can enjoy us. Kooper now goes here for daycare and it takes everything in him to follow his manners walking up to the door. He loves it there. To all of the SMS staff, Carmen, Nathan, Abby, and especially to his first love (trainer), Liz B (we are so in debt to you), Beth and Tamar... I will never forget how you've helped us.

Pet-Friendly Restaurants

Indian Ocean Restaurant
11121 York Rd, CockeysvilleWe really enjoyed our first time at Indian Ocean! There was a good selection of options, and everything was delicious. We appreciated that they bring a fresh basket of Naan to your table, and they also had mango lassis included in the buffet which I've never seen at a buffet before. They also had a TV wall with a soccer game on, and another with the Ravens game which was an extra touch!

Bagel Works Hunt Valley
11209 York Rd, CockeysvilleThe bagels are flavorful, yet lack some of the chewiness of a perfect bagel. The cheese is typical and commercial, but there are a variety of choices. The smoked fish is a relatively strong offering--which sets this apart from other choices. Service is attentive, for dine in, and the seating is comfortable enough for a rushed meal. Not bad.
