“The food prices at Giant food continue to rise. When there are sales on food and you get to the register . It rings up a higher price for the food. You must constantly monitor Giants charging and cash register practices . Lots of do not get the sale price at all.”

Everyone I encountered was friendly and helpful. I was only shopping for a few things, but it was such a pleasant store experience. “Here’s a polished version: Great store. The fruit is always fresh and somehow tastes sweeter and better than at other places. I especially like the juice, meat and sausage selection, and dairy products here. I’m also a big fan of their organic pomegranate juice, it tastes fresh and very natural, with no added sugar. I recently discovered that the market also has a kebab house where they cook food fresh on the spot. The food is delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. Highly recommended!”

“Always ask for Heidi at the deli counter. She is a sweetheart and very helpful. Currently the store is having AC issues (July 2026) but there are stand-alone floor AC units throughout the store. The only problem I have here is that sometimes the aisles are congested when employees or vendors are stocking shelves. I would also like to see the pharmacy open sooner than what they currently do.”

“This store has to be the busiest store. Locally for Aldi. This store suffered a detriment to its efficiency when the Self-Checkout lanes were eliminated. The reason given was that shoplifting was rampant and profits were affected. However, in order to handle the large amounts of customers more than 2 checkout lanes need to be open at all times. It's often discouraging for a shopper that has an small amount of items to see a line backed up to the Aldi finds isle upon entering the store. Perhaps they can revisit the Self-Checkout in another capacity. Maybe similar to the system at Primark where you have to scan your receipt to exit. In this case you have 1 employee to overwatch multiple registers. In this age of automation surely the German based company can devise a new system rather that having to revert after making such progress in grocery store efficiency.”
“Great selection of kitchen supplies and cookware. I always come here because the selection at typical American supermarkets leaves a lot to be desired. For example, I needed a lemon/lime press and Safeway only had one option for $22. I checked savemart and they had FIVE options, all for less than $12. I got exactly what I needed!”

“I love that this store has automatic doors I don't have to use a glove but to pick up my items. I'm 3x high risk and this place is Less packed FOR ME far more than grand mart capital plaza and food way. I LOOOVE they practice COVID-19 safety precautions and they have everything neatly packaged. I came here for something small and I found the spare ribs I've been searching for for eeoons smh, I'm telling you don't sleep on these international markets they have everything your giant,Wegmans etc has and stuff you can't find!!! . So I've been getting my ribs from here, they sell their beets INDIVIDUALLY!!! (Can you see my excitement lol) which I love because I can't always afford the whole thing or need the whole thing so it helps they have mushrooms/peppers all produce individually and weigh it pretty smart if you ask Me. This place is clean, the seafood department I'm definitely going back they keep it on ice as required, fresh, the Men are very helpful throughout the store they even go above and beyond if they can't help they'll ask someone else which is dope. I get so much stuff esp if I'm making my noodle bowls this place is better in every way in my opinion I don't have a complaint yet. They have a great selection of Lamb,Goat,Oxtails and it's affordable. They accept all payments btw they seriously have live swimming seafood in the Tanks I was uneasy at first and wtf but I got used to it but you won't regret any Purchase made here!”

I probably shop there every other month for items I can't get at my neighborhood grocery store. The restaurant in the front corner of the store is amazingly good, too.”

“Aldi's prices always catch me off guard because they are so good. The current cost of groceries almost makes it necessary that you go to Aldi's they are more limited than a regular grocery store but it's worth the trip. They have excellent house brands. Today, I was able to purchase a corned beef roast, a pound of raw but fully cleaned large shrimp, premium cans of white chicken breast, cheese, and a dozen large eggs for $1.46. these are just the proteins. I had a full grocery basket with fruit and vegetables as well as many assorted staples and snacks. My total bill was amazingly under $80. If you haven't tried Aldi's you are missing out.”
Walmart just launched Realm, its new 3D online shopping platform. Realm lets you browse "digital doubles" of real Walmart products by navigating through several make-believe worlds. Popular Florida-based grocery chain Publix is venturing into uncharted territory - Kentucky. Come 2024, Publix will unveil its inaugural Bluegrass State locations, comprising six stores sprinkled between Louisville and Lexington.
