“Margarita was exceptional. Hard worker thoroughly cleaning machines after every wash and dryers. Makes me feel comfortable doing my laundry services here. Prices for was range from $4.75 for small $5.50 for big machines dryer .25 for 6 minutes per time.”

“Wonderful service. My cat had an accident on my silk brocade bag, and Quality Dry Cleaners in Silver Spring turned me away, not even letting me explain that I had soaked the bag in cold water and white vinegar to destroy the smell. Wheaton Valet Cleaners was extremely courteous and professional, and they not only cleaned my bag, but somehow made the colors more vibrant than ever. The bag was small, but I was still stunned at the fact that I paid less than $5 for the service. I will return if I have need of a dry cleaner’s again.”

“The laundromat is wonderful, and the employees are great. However, I have two suggestions:
1. The dryer doors do not stay open. When loading clothes, the door can swing shut and hit you. I often have to wedge clothes in just to keep it open, which is very frustrating.
2. I understand there is a one-hour policy where unattended laundry bags are discarded. I suggest keeping the bags instead of throwing them away. I had four bags—after putting my clothes in the washer, I left the bags nearby and moved my clothes to the dryer using a cart. When I went back to get my bags, they were gone because an employee had thrown them away. I know they were following policy, but doing laundry takes about an hour, and placing bags above or under machines is common. It would be better to store them somewhere so customers can retrieve them if needed. I had to dig out my laundry bags from the trash.
Aside from these issues, I really like this laundry, and the employees are very helpful.”
“The Island Plaza Cleaners are local heroes! After I moved out of a moldy apartment, they were able to get the mold out of my dry clean clothes, including a handmade wool coat I got from my grandma. When I brought the clothes in, they were realistic and upfront with what they were and were not sure they could get the mold out of. They were also very friendly and understanding! In the end, they got the mold out of everything and saved the coat I got from my grandma?
I wish I could provide pictures but I was busy looooossssing my mind?”

“Good laundromat, nice and easy! Only issue is it seems to close earlier than what it says online at times. Went on a Sunday at 2:30 and they were closing for the day - Google says 4:00. Go early and you will be good!”
“I went to easy my clothes on Saturday morning and had the best experience ever! Mercedes the lady that was working was so nice towards me helped me with the new card machine because I was struggling and was so kind to me most definitely would come back.”
“American Mega Laundromat now has Five New & Efficient Superb Car Wash Machines. The machines offer a high pressure soap and water feature with hose nozzle them a super foamy brush session and finally a high pressure rinse. Machines take both cash and card payments. I used a ten dollar ten minute service which I found sufficient. (Note untangle your hoses before payment. Once on the clock keep moving to facilitate your wash. Inside I was greeted by the owner Seyid and instructed by his manager Yessinia. My suv has a rooftop storage container that is not allowed in a drive through car wash that has height restrictions. The lot is spacious newly paved with a generous area dedicated to car washing. Conveniently located near the entrance of the Hyattsville Metro Station with another rear entrance off Agee Road. Look for the large electronic colorful sign. This will be my “go to “ destination for a car wash. Well done Seyid and staff!”
“The best cleaners in DC. They take excellent care of my clothes ensuring that all buttons are covered and stains and hang on let me finish here and then all buttons are vovered are marked and removed. Love them.”

The request was done in 24 hours (likely less, I just happened to pick it up at the 24 hour mark), they were very open about timeline expectations and made me feel welcome. Id absolutely recommend for your uniform/tailoring needs!”
“I guess quite decent place to try. They told me they used expensive subscriptions for the whole cleaning systems. Which is better for our/customer’s health because they use the solvent human food grade oils and everything so no need to afraid of cancer at least from dry cleaning. They explained how much they charge what is the cost. Overall happy with their service! Very knowledgeable and honest.”
“I don’t usually ever give reviews, but Lamont Cleaners went above and beyond for my service. I recently tore my ACL, was on crutches, and needed my linen pants altered for a wedding. They were very accommodating for my ADA restrictions, made me very comfortable during my fitting, and it was done within 4 days. Cost was under $50 as well. By FAR the best in Mt. Pleasant and will only be going to them for any alterations or dry cleaning from here on.”
“I’m really impressed with their service! Not only do they clean everything thoroughly, but what surprised me the most was when I brought in my expensive down jacket for dry cleaning last winter. I completely forgot to pick it up for almost a year because I was so busy. When I finally came back this winter, they had kept it in perfect condition! “An easy to access and convenience shopping center with plenty of parking and shop options. There is a Starbucks, Safeway, Dollar tree, HR Block, and several other stores & restaurants. Can get pretty busy on the weekends but otherwise is generally good to visit on weekdays.”
“This is my neighborhood dry cleaner. The are very friendly. Prices are average. They can perform basic tailoring, such as fitting a jacket, slacks, or skirts, etc...”
“We’ve been going here for years, and at this point they know us by name — no ticket, no fumbling for a phone number, just a hello and our order already coming off the rack. The work is consistently excellent: everything comes back clean, pressed properly, and on time, and when we’ve had a tricky stain or a rush job they’ve handled it without making it a production.
What surprised me most is that our kids actually ask to come along. That says something about how the staff treat people. It’s a small business run with real professionalism and genuine warmth, which is a rarer combination than it should be. If you’re looking for a dry cleaner you can stop thinking about, this is it.”

“Clean and well maintained laundromat. Even when it was busy there were enough machines of various sizes that worked for everyone and little to no wait. Staff were present and responsive to customer questions and were cleaning machines or folding laundry as part of their offered paid wash and fold service. There are very few places to sit or fold considering the number of machines but that's the only negative.”
“The attendant Ron was extremely kind polite and helpful when I came there this morning to wash a king sized comforter since they offer the large format washers and dryers. He made sure I did it the right way to get the best results. Also he sent me up to the corner store to the atm as they only accept cash. “As of right now I’ll give it a 4. The place is really well maintained. Staff are nice.
The regular size washer what I would call your typical apartment washer is $5.99 I was able to fit a king size thin comforter or quilt I should say with two small blankies, the 2nd one I put the bed covers, some towels and more blankets. The 3rd one another comforter and my sons clothes. So far I’ve spent $17.90. The slightly bigger machines is $7.99. You do get free drying here but it still seems a little too high. If you are washing just clothes I’d say is worth it but when you have bed covers, seems more expensive since it’s taking up the entire machine.”

“My family has been going here for over 20 years, even after we moved about fifteen minutes further away. The family that runs the cleaners is wonderful, very dedicated and helpful. I have brought them the results of my clumsiness, you know what I mean, and they have taken care of 98% of them. In the rare instance where they don't do something right, they bend over backwards to fix it. We also have had items altered and they do a great job at reasonable prices.”
