The shop's pet-friendly environment adds to the charm, making it feel like a slice of wine country right here in DC. “The perfect local market deli spot for fresh sandwiches, salads, and all the snacks. They also have a large selection of awesome beers and unique wines. Grab & go or relax inside or outside with the seating available - and you can enjoy a glass of wine or beer! They even do incredible catering - sandwich platters, brownie & cookies, and extravagant charcuterie boards. Great staff, great vibes.”

“A. Litteri is a classic -- small but mighty! They have a great assortment of fresh pastas, a tasty selection of Italian cheeses, and lots of fun condiments and such. (They also have what's supposed to be a terrific wine selection, but we haven't sampled that.) We even found fresh apple pie there for Pi Day. Nice, helpful people, too!”

“One of the best place to get wide range of brands in Tequila , whisky and vodka etc.Just talk to the staff about the price if u are unhappy about the price they are always ready to fix it . “I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Amos who is currently employed at Calvert Woodley Fine Wines & Spirits. Amos provides excellent customer service with his polite and patient demeanor. He excels at matching a client’s budget with a choice of wine and champagne appropriate to the occasion. My daughter, Airlie, and her husband, Nicholas, from Chamonix, France, as well as her mother-in-law, were extremely impressed with his knowledge of champagne from the region, while still offering competitive price ranges. Hands down, Amos is my go-to person for a variety of social occasions!”

“This is the store i get a lot of my non wine beverages from. They are very efficient. There was a product they did not carry Smoke Mountain Moon shine and they ordered it for me. No matter the liquor they have price point and wide variety of brands in liquor and beer. This is a great place to get everything for your home bar or party. I only shop there once or twice a month but they are always very respectful. During this Covid period they only allow so many people in the store at a time. Prices are very good.”
