The lady in the fish dept was cleaning a tank but kindly said hello and welcomed me in , asking if I needed help. I was excited to see the exact Cory’s and tetras I wanted. I didn’t get her name but she had an accent and was extremely knowledgeable about aquatics. The tanks were super clean and very well maintained. I loved the selection of everything and the awesome customer service I received from her as well as cashier. . Definitely coming back for more!

Earlier this week I brought him to a different spa and they said they couldn’t handle him. I told Cassie he is a handful when I booked and she said she would do it. Cassie confidently took Kevin back with her and successfully cut his nails in less than ten minutes. She gave him lots of love while clipping his nails. We will most definitely be back! Thank you again for helping Kevin feel comfortable and making this a positive experience!

7276 Cradlerock Way, ColumbiaDr Feinstein went out her way to make me comfortable about my car’s health she replied to a post on Facebook and without any thought asked me to make an appointment my normal vet stated surgery dr Feinstein was confident surgery wouldn’t fix his problem she waived the exam fee and I only had to pay for the meds which is very hard to find shows how caring and compassionate they are about your animals. It’s not about money.

Our first visit was simply to get established as a new patient. I expected the typical exam and blood work, but I was pleasantly surprised that we actually got the blood work results back during the appointment. What really stood out to me was how Dr. Muhammad took the time to go through the results with us, showing us where everything fell and explaining what it actually meant. At one point he said, “I really think our (human) doctors should do this with their patients too,” and I couldn’t have agreed more!
Dr. Muhammad was passionate, understanding, and genuinely invested in my cat’s care. I left that first appointment already feeling really good about choosing this practice.
Then things got a little more complicated. My cat has hyperthyroidism and requires medication twice a day—which, if you’ve ever tried giving a cat medication twice a day, you know can be nearly impossible. ? We decided to pursue another treatment option that will be done elsewhere, but it requires quite a few workups, labs, and other things to be completed through his primary vet first.
That has resulted in multiple appointments because we’re trying to get everything done without completely stressing my cat out. The entire staff has been incredibly accommodating and willing to jump through all the hoops required to help us get everything completed. They’ve made what could have been a really frustrating process so much easier.
I honestly haven’t had a single bad interaction with anyone here. Everyone has been kind, helpful, and easy to work with. Had I lived closer before, all of my previous pets would have come here too.
I’m very happy to have found them and would absolutely recommend this practice.

Kanakry Anthony DVM
10665 MD-108, ColumbiaDr. Kanakry is the best. He treated my dogs and cats. I had a rottie, Ceaser, that was diagnosed with bone cancer. Dr. Kanakry went above and beyond. Not only did he refer us to VOSM for surgery to remove the leg bone, but he also visited VOSM on his day off to check on Ceaser and the prognosis. Never once did I take any of 4 legged kids to him and feel that they weren't in the best hands. I appreciated his time during the visit, and the calls after to check on how my babies were feeling. I would be remiss if I didn't also mention Dr. Watts and Linda (tech). I moved an hour away and haven't found a better vet yet.

Dr. O'Byrne was so patient, helpful and compassionate!! She answered my questions and didn't rush me through the appointment. Carolyn was also so patient and compassionate with me too!!! My dog loved them both!! Charlie and Amanda were so helpful, patient and compassionate as well!! When I called to schedule my dog's shots I met Bayleigh and she is phenomenal as well!! Is this where all of the amazing people hang out? I love it here! I will continue to bring my dog here even if I move. The staff is amazing!! The care is amazing!! It doesn't get any better than this!! I highly recommend Banfield Columbia!! You will not be disappointed at all!!

A dog that is scared of noises, smells, people, dogs, shadows, and everything else, has no quality of life. Medications help but they do not change behavior. We've been on that long, sometimes draining journey with our Aussie-Lab mix pup, Freyja. We searched for awhile for a place that offered positive, fear-free, training for our dog in the DMV area and came across the Kranky Knine (KK9) classes at the Coventry School for Dogs. Liz, Emily and Julia have been a lifeline!
We have taken 3 KK9 classes since Feb 2026. Even from the first meeting time, we started seeing glimpses of the dog we know she can be and that those tiny improvements gave us so much hope. As time progressed, a moment that really stands out was when Freyja actually tried to get closer to the dogs and their pawents. She didn't meet them, but she wanted to. We have also noticed real improvements in the hallway and elevator (one of our biggest daily battles). She's starting to move away from scary monsters (aka dogs and people) more easily, and her outbursts aren't as intense or frequent as before. That said, it's still a struggle. And the elevator is still a major challenge. Our neighbors are understandably tired of her reactivity, and we feel that pressure every day.
But through all of it, the KK9 team has been in our corner. Liz has been a wonderful advocate for our dog. Liz took the time to write a detailed note to our behavioral vet after we finished our first KK9 class, which helped shape Freyja's treatment plan in a meaningful way. And the ongoing support from Liz, Emily, and Julia, has made all the difference.
We know recovery is a long road, but thanks to this team, we're finally walking it with more confidence and less fear. Our journey with a reactive dog has become easier with these kind people who helped us move forward, one small victory at a time. We are eternally grateful!!!

Pups Dog Obedience Training

I wanted to get him around other dogs in a neutral space with structure. I never expected to see such a positive shift in his training. The tools and techniques they give you are a GAME CHANGER. They gave me the confidence I needed to become a fair and predictable leader that my dog can trust. I have already recommended the class to multiple friends with young dogs and I plan on taking more classes with them! I could not be happier with the outcome. 6300 Stevens Forest Rd, ColumbiaI should have discovered this neighborhood gem a long time ago. The items I selected for a takeout lunch with my grandson were delicious — and kid-approved (he’s a picky eater!).
I was able to easily order online before leaving a dental appointment, and by the time we arrived at their location, the wait was only a few minutes. They provide an electronic pager so you can wait comfortably in your car until your food is ready, which was especially appreciated with unmelted snow still on the ground.
Although this is a food truck, they have their setup very well organized. The smells coming from the ordering window were absolutely mouthwatering.
Chicken Tacos – Four freshly made tacos with your choice of meat (we chose shredded chicken), topped with onion, cilantro, radish, lime, and multiple sauces. My grandson dove into his meal so quickly — after kindly sharing one taco with me — that I forgot to grab a photo!
Birria Pupusas – Three generously sized pupusas stuffed with beef birria, cheese, onion, and cilantro, served with cabbage on the side.
We also ordered the Plátanos (fried plantains), served with a dollop of sour cream — delicious.
The portions were very filling; I have more than enough for another meal. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the prices were very reasonable.
The best compliment I can give? My grandson has already requested that whenever I come to visit (which is pretty often — I live just three miles away, LOL), we order takeout from here again.
I think we’ve found a new regular spot — one I only wish I had tried much sooner!
