“Prior to moving cross-country, I was researching where I would source feeders from. However, I first came in looking for a terrarium as my reptile's home wouldn't arrive on time. Although I didn't find what I was looking for, Barbara was very helpful and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't want or need. There are a variety of animals, including rodents, in the shop, so there is a minor smell but nothing out of the ordinary for this kind of environment, and nothing that made me think twice about getting feeders. Other places in the area didn't have the type of enclosure I wanted, and Barbara and Terry went out of their way to help me and my noodle baby out. I boarded her for a little over a week and picked her up today. She was in good spirits despite a little stuck shed on her face. I think it's safe to say that I was more sensitive to her being away from home than she was ? I'm really grateful to the folks here who made a stressful situation manageable.”
“I am completely in shock with how awesome this place is! My 9 year old pittie is very dramatic when getting her nails trimmed and was causing it to be hard to get grooming appointments anywhere. Gail and her team took her in and she apparently didn’t even make a peep while she got a bath and nail trim. We have found our new groomer & are so grateful to have found them!”
“My father is retired and was wanting a cockatiel. This is the first place we went and it was a great experience. He bought a beautiful, all white cockatiel. The owner made sure we left with everything we needed and encouraged us to call with any questions. We had my two children with us, ages 6 and 9, and they had a very nice time seeing and learning about the different kinds of birds.Would definitely recommend this place.”

“Stopped in for the first time to buy some dog food that I don’t see at Pet Smart, which is close by. They have a large variety of food and treats for your fur family members. Of course, they don’t carry everything but they surprisingly carried freeze-dried raw foods that I can’t get through Chewy. This is a 15 minute drive vs the 30 mins to Annapolis. The staff was very nice and friendly. I’ll be back for future purchases.”

“We've been taking our pets here for their grooming since 1999. We moved to Catonsville several years ago, but I still drive back to Essex to have our dog groomed. They are the best!”
“They also have a location in Mt. Washington where you will meet the most knowledgeable, helpful staff. I was in there today talking about my pup who had jaw surgery and is now an incredibly sloppy eater. They had so many great suggestions on how I could best make her meatballs (lol) and, more importantly, were so compassionate about our "new normal," sharing their stories about their own dogs trials and tribulations. I am a lifelong fan and patron now and highly recommend Howl. This is what small business is all about.”
“We have been ordering our conures favorite treat sticks from peta2z for several months. They have always arrived well packed with only a limited number of damaged sticks. Other places often had half or more of the order damaged. Thank you to peta2z for proper care and handling of our birds treat sticks. We look forward to ordering again and again in the future.”

“My partner and I love this store. We have purchased several fish, a lot of our aquariums and supplies from them. Joanna is wonderful. She is friendly and knowledgeable. She not only answers my fish care questions, but my Polish language questions as well. They sold some of our angelfish offspring for store credit, which saved us some money in fish food. Highly recommend.”
“This may seem odd as a representative of K-9 Kraving that I am leaving a review, HOWEVER, I too, am a customer of K-9 Kraving. Currently, I have 3 furr-kids, all rescues, varying breeds, all different ages. Since joining my pack, they have all been fed K-9 Kraving diets. Abbey is the matriarch of our pack. A 14yo Jack-ChiChi mix. For the most part, Abbey has been an easy keeper over the years; trimming her nails and weight management were our greatest challenges until about 1.5 years ago. Out of nowhere, about every 4 months, Abbey's ears and paws would become infected, and transferring to her mouth from licking/scratching. Each visit & pharma treatment at the DVM was leaving me with a $180 - $200 bill. But more frustrating than the cost was not knowing the WHY it was a reoccurring challenge. Chicken, Beef & Veg (or) Chicken & Veg w/ Mackerel were the standards in our house with only K-9 Kraving dried treats for foraging snacks. One day, as I was creating technical posts for our FB page, I personally focused on the benefits of one of our most under-appreciated diets, Rabbit, Duck & Vegetable. This diet has ant-inflammatory qualities and is also low in cholesterol, excellent for senior canines.....DING, DING, DING!!! For Abbey, I made the connection that older dogs have different needs... We made the switch in January 2023. FFW to today, Abbey is the leanest she has ever been, inflammation & infection free for over 4 months (WOO-HOO) and more active than ever! She is actually playing with toys. I couldn't be happier with the difference the RDV diet has made for her. In Abbey's case, the inflammation was triggering licking and scratching, ultimately resulting in infection. With RDV diet those triggers have been neutralized. “I love going to Petco! It’s near my house, I can always park right out front, I know where all of the things I need are, and there are lots of sales to choose from. I never seem to be in a queue at the store, and when I check out, the cashiers are always very helpful and friendly. Mimzy, apparently, approves every time I come home from there!”
“First time shopping at this establishment. The cashier was friendly, patient, engaging, and focused with the customer in front of me, but she didn’t even make eye contact with me while checking me out, was doing other things, and just rushed me out. I thought I was going to get the same customer service as the lady in front of me, but I guess not. Cashier needs to be more mindful of how she comes off to customers of different demographics”
“Love shopping here! Staff is extremely friendly and takes the time to get to know you and your pets. Our dog went through training classes here years ago and the staff still asks about her even when she is not shopping with us! Best local Petco!!”
“I have never been to this store, but I ordered a large piece of equipment to be delivered. I spoke with Will to make these arrangements. He was extremely friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. There was a piece missing that I did not catch until the next day. I called Will and he immediately called the delivery company to see if they had it. The driver had taken it off to prevent loss during transport and forgot to leave it. He made the trip to my home to deliver it. I hope to make the drive to this TSC soon. Thank you Will!”
“Literally had one of the worst days of my life and needed surgery so afterwards I stopped here to buy myself a treat (jumping spider). Was told it was too late to purchase an animal (we did go in last minute). But after explaining my day to the worker she said shed make an exception. My day went from one of the worst days of my life to having something to look forward too again. I understand rules are meant to be followed but you never know what happened in somebodys day and I just wanted to write them a review because they turned my entire day from being awful into being able to have something to look forward too. Even though everybody was busy closing and cleaning they took time out for me to choose and purchase my spider. Every single worker in there was so kind and even told me that they hope im feeling better. A little kindness goes a long way and I will go out of my way to come to this petsmart anytime I need something because of how kind they were. I am very appreciative of all the workers there tonight and cant wait to come back and visit again.”
“Best place to get propane by far. They also always have a great selection of dog food, cat food, litter, Carhartt clothing, and more. Only complaint is that online pick up is usually slow.”

Hannah also took the time to listen to what I wanted and made sure my pet was comfortable throughout the process. Her positive attitude and warm personality made the experience even better. “Needed kitten formula and bottles. Didn't want momma kitty to stay in truck in carrier in hot weather after emergency C-section and spay due to stuck kitten...stillborn.? I called and spoke with employee who gathered supplies for me, so all I had to do was run in, pay for supplies and leave. It was a big help, and I appreciated it very much.”
“Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Love going there! Marion, the trainer is the best. She is very creative, sensitive and in tune with the dogs and parents, amazing. Marion can suggest a solution to any situation. Peaches loves going to class. She is my second dog going there for training. Program is good and affordable, but the trainer adds so much more. We have so much fun. It's good for me to learn to understand Peaches and not react incorrectly.
