“Decent store with friendly, helpful staff. They get an A+, but... not a great selection on a Saturday night, however, for flyer items. Also, there are still those horrible scales at the self-checkout bagging platform. And it was the only option on a Saturday evening for checkout. These scales are so sensitive that you can barely scan one item without the electronic "her" barking at you to "Put your item in the bagging area." It's particularly difficult if you use your own bags. We did, and "she" still shut us down each time. I really feel sorry for the staff who have to deal with this every shift. I like having Weis in town (former PA resident), but please fix or scrap the scales! They are too frustrating to make it worth shopping here.”

Always have been very satisfied with their communications with various doctors’ offices, the ease of ordering and refilling medications, and the vaccines they provide and alert you to. “We had the absolute best experience at Walgreens this morning getting passport photos taken for my one-year-old. Nick helped us, and I truly cannot say enough good things about him.

Anyone who has tried to get passport pictures of a toddler knows it is not the easiest task. Nick was incredibly patient, kind, and accommodating from start to finish. He went above and beyond to make sure the photos met all the passport requirements so that our son’s application would be accepted and processed without delay. He was thorough, detail-oriented, and genuinely invested in getting it right.

What stood out most was how considerate and warm he was. You can tell he truly cares about his job and about the customer experience. It felt like he wasn’t just doing a task, he was taking care of his neighbors. This is exactly what community should look like in Edgewater.

Every time I’ve used this pharmacy, the experience has been consistently solid. The front staff and the pharmacist have been efficient, courteous, and direct. When I’ve had questions, they’ve been informed and, more than once, have taken initiative—contacting my doctor and resolving issues before I even knew there was a problem.

A number of the one- and two-star reviews seem to come down to frustration—feeling inconvenienced or personally slighted. It’s worth remembering that pharmacists deal with a constant flow of people, many of whom are stressed, sick, or pressed for time. That environment isn’t trivial.

The team at the Edgewater Giant pharmacy has done their job well in my experience. They deserve the same baseline respect we expect from them.”

“I initially came to put a 1 star review due to a difficult time with the pharmacists over the phone.Changing this to 5 stars because Brice the store manager was incredible and helped me resolve my issue and in addition, when I went to pick up my prescription, I saw how busy the pharmacy is and despite that the team was still incredible friendly and nice.I hope we all have a little extra bit of patience for the pharmacy at Mitchells chance rd as they are on the front line fighting this covid pandemic and are extremely busy all day with inquiries.”
