“Great place to stay, I loved it!

My husband always stays here, but this time I stayed with him and it was absolutely amazing. The front desk Oreo was very patient and helpful something that you definitely need when you’re old. The place was clean and well maintained.”

“Stayed at this wonderful hotel as part of a Park Stay Sail package for our recent cruise out of Baltimore! What can I say? The hotel was excellent, the staff was friendly, and the experience was very pleasant! Breakfast was filling! Looking forward to staying here and parking our car before future cruises out of Baltimore! Highly recommend using this hotel if sailing out of Baltimore! To get a shuttle after your cruise ends, just call the hotel and they'll start sending shuttles if one isn't there when you disembark!”

“Went here for family reunion for the second time. This is primarily a golf resort, but there are other activities available. Indoor and outdoor pools, tennis and pickle ball courts, spa, restaurant, gym.

The rooms are comfortable, though I wish there was a dresser in the room. Only able to hang clothes. There is a nice TV, an iron and ironing board in the room, hair dryer and desk with the only chair, so the only other seating is the beds. Also have a small fridge and microwave, and a Keurig coffee maker.

The resort is very large. Our family had two meals included and a gathering room for meals and socializing. Was a long walk from the lobby to the room for meals, but the food was very good.

I think my family enjoyed the weekend, and since this was the second time we chose this place, we obviously liked it. It's located just south of Baltimore, so there are things to do there, too. It's also close to Ellicott City, a lovely town with nice shops and restaurants. Both the resort and Ellicott city restaurants were fairly popular, so make reservations for activities and meals. The restaurant was not as busy but has a limited menu.

I would go back for a third time, because it really is a good place for families and things to do. Prices are not exorbitant for the rooms. Don't know what it costs for golf, but it looked like quite a lot of people were golfing. If you need a clean decent place for your event, I would recommend you check it out.”

“Convenient location right off of BW Parkway, close to BWI airport out of the fray of Arundel Mills Mall and Casino which we prefer. Close to lots of eating options.”

“Incredibly beautiful hotel, I almost wish I had stayed longer just to enjoy how pretty it was. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a small issue with my booking; the system somehow double booked me, under two different discount codes. The lovely woman at the front desk was very efficient at clearing it all up getting me situated while also being very nice and joking around. The manager came over just to check on things and was also great to talk to. Valet parking was very easy, and the attendants were great. Went to the café downstairs, food was pretty pricey, but for the area it isn’t bad, and the portions are *more* than generous.

Literally a block away from CFG arena. The room wasn't very expensive compared to others, and I likely saved even more just by not needing to take an uber. I was here for a kpop concert, as were many other guests, as well as a lot of military people were staying. So a very loud gathering of people on top of being in downtown Baltimore. However, my room was very peaceful, no excess noise spilling in.

There is certainly some wear and tear in the rooms, like other reviews have stated, but nothing to detract from the stay at all, just what one can expect from a historic site.”

“*Must have military base access*

We love this location! Lived here for 6 weeks during PCS. It was a great intro to Ft Meade, a home away from home. The rooms are comfortable. Great AC/Heat, clean, and they have a full size fridge and two burner stove, microwave and desk. They allow pets and try to get most on the first floor so it's easier for potty breaks.
They have an awesome daily breakfast! When we stayed, they also had a manager's special Wed nights that served foods like hot dogs, chips, that sort of thing. On 8/7/2025, we noticed that they also have brand new Cornhole games set out.
They have free laundry, you just need soap and they have a business section that we used often for homework and PCS paperwork. They also have a loan locker with things like a crockpot and even office supplies. Hot coffee all day. What more could you want?”

“Great location, finally a nice hotel not only near, but NEXT TO Johns Hopkins. Beds are ridiculously comfortable and bathrooms are spacious but feel cold. Dear Charles has a great menu… LOVE the breakfast selections and don’t skip the roasted chicken for dinner. Staff is solid and works hard to ensure you enjoy your stay.”

“A great area to stay when visiting the Baltimore/Maryland area. Conveniently close to the airport and surrounded by excellent restaurants. The hotel includes a pool, gym, and serves good food.”

“Love the location of this hotel and the shuttle service! Carol is always such a joy. If it wasn’t for all the awesome shuttle drivers I would not come here regularly. The front desk staff this time around as a whole were rude and short in every interaction I had especially the lady with the long braids.”

“We checked into the Sheraton today and we were very impressed. The front desk service was quick and friendly. Our room was clean and quite pleasant. The decor was stately.”

“We stayed here to attend a hockey tournament for our grandson.
The staff at this hotel are friendly and very helpful! The room was very roomy and pretty clean. The toilet ran, constantly, and was extremely small and low. It was, also, very loose. Not a fan!
The Mexican restaurant that is attached, is lovely! Nice bar, decent food, ok prices, and VERY attentive servers! We went there for lunch and back for drinks, later on, and had the same positive experience!
Our whole family stayed here and, for the most part, everyone was satisfied. I would stay here, again

Nearby activities: Went for a hockey tournament. This hotel was, about, 20 minutes from one of the rinks and, only, 10 minutes from the other.
Lots of restaurants and stores in the area.”

“My second stay here. Very friendly staff. Very nice, clean rooms. Warm breakfast every morning. I've stayed here a total of two weeks and would always stay here when my company sends me up for training at a local trade school.

Nearby activities: Lot's of shopping and dining in walking distance.

Walkability: Pretty safe but, be careful crossing the street at night.

Food and drinks: Almost anything you could ask for...”

“The staff here was friendly and welcoming. I even got to exchange some witty banter (which I personally appreciate and may not be for everyone). This was an easy drive to most places I needed to go and there was plenty of restaurants near by. My only complaint is the bed being firmer than I would have preferred but it is what it is.”

“We had a good time overall here, for the price. The kitchenette met our needs. The staff (in particular America) were superb. We loved the locations ease of access to the 75 bus, which can transport you quickly to the Thurgood-Marshall into DC. All around nice stay, very quiet, clean. Only downside was when I slipped and fell on the ice and scraped my arm pretty bad, I had asked for a bandaid and they said they didn't have any to give. Just seems a bit weird they didn't have any first aid just in case. I understand they were under construction, though, so I'm not docking a star. A couple nitpicks: no coffee filter to make our own coffee, no sponge to wash dishes, and no bandaid when I ended up bleeding from a fall.”

“I’ve stayed at Motel 6 locations across the country for years, and this one is by far the newest and cleanest even compared to some higher-priced hotels. I stayed here for four days about two weeks ago, and the service was excellent as well. If I ever need a place to stay again, I’ll definitely come back and highly recommend it to others”

“I have stayed at this Motel 6 on Fort Meade several times and I have never had a bad experience. The owners and staff always welcome me and they always accommodate my needs. Whether it’s for one night or several nights I can walk to stores, take a free bus to catch a train, the mall where there’s a casino, or restaurants that are up scale, this Motel is in a prime location and right off the highway. Hari, a night employee who has been working at the Fort Meade Motel 6 for 5 years actually came to help me with an issue in my room in the middle of the night and even offered to change my room. He is a friendly guy who always has a smile on his face, customer service at its finest. Thank you Motel 6.”

“I'm not entirely sure why this hotel has such low reviews. The rooms are very clean, stocked before you check in, and the front desk staff are very accommodating. I've Stayed at Hilton, LA Quinta, Redroof, etc. While the customer service level changes depending on where you stay- the customer service level here was phenomenal. Checking in was easy. I think this hotel gets a bad rep, because it's one of the ones you open the door to the street, but it's a very nice, comfortable feeling hotel. Not a lot of foot traffic, which is wild for the price point, but you can tell they've spent time and effort into not only the remodeling, but the cleanliness. As a budget model, I am very impressed. This review may change as I've only just checked in, but I don't foresee that happening. The only thing that I would change, and this is a first world problem, would be to add USBs somewhere. That's negligible.

Edited: This is my second night out of three and I'm still impressed. I'm sorry- you can want to save money and that's great. I want to, too. Thus is a budget motel that goes above an beyond. You don't get to spend $48 a night and then complain when these guys who have to deal with over 300 rooms not wait on you hand and foot. If you'd like towels just.. go to the office and ask nicely? It's free. It costs nothing to be nice. Red Roof is right next door and I would never.”

“It was just average I've been to several better Sleep Inn's. The front desk staff is good. The pool was open and allegedly heated. The gym was open, the equipment didn't work there was no place to plug it in. The breakfast as mentioned twice in the ad says continental breakfast and hot. The only hot thing there was the waffle iron.... Coffee was disappointing, not very hot. Comfortable beds. Average for what I expect for a work trip.”

“This isn’t a holiday inn any longer. It is a homeless shelter for men. It’s called the times organization and it is a absolutely wonderful place to get your life in order. They provide you with resources to get you permanently off the streets and into a forever home. This is the Mayors innovative and it is absolutely working one little bit at a time. Thank you BALTIMORE CITY for showing that you care about your homeless population”
